Every single contract a club signs with a player must be accompanied by a statutory declaration signed by both parties confirming that there are no additional waivers, side agreements or arrangements sitting outside that singular contract. It is mandatory.
If the club has signed such an arrangement, then the CEO at the time, the Chairman and anyone else involved have potentially broken the law.
Such behaviour is completely unacceptable and cannot be tolerated under any circumstances. If it is established that any individual was knowingly party to an arrangement outside the official contract or CBA, they must stand down immediately. There must be accountability at every level.

Think at a time of transition for the club and given he is our only AFL premiership captain, it might be wise to have @warrentredrea in the GM of football role. Knows the club, knows the game and it seems there’s a current lack of alternatives on the market. He could do it at least on an interim basis for the time being.

Full credit Cricket Australia, George Bailey, Ronnie and co for destroying yet another young promising career. McSweeney done at the top level, hung out to dry, set up to fail. Disgraceful mismanagement. Should never have been him, batting out of position, ruined everything.

Plenty of poise displayed by new @PAFC rookie Tom Cochrane, who kicked this match-winner for @Ceeentrals in @SANFL U18s this year. The eldest son of Stuart Cochrane is strongly built, can play midfield or as medium forward at 182cm. #AFLDraft

There's been an average of 63 players selected in the past three national drafts post-Covid. I think we're a chance to see 70+ picks used in November. There may not be a Reid or Daicos or Rowell at the top, but the 2024 class is full to the brim with serious talent #AFLDraft
