A day out with @AndersG2211 yesterday around Akrotiri Area.
Picked up a large raptor over the marsh from the tower which landed and gave good scope views. Identified by Anders as a young Egyptian vulture. Distant record shot.
Waited all week for an audience with this chap.

What was meant to be a quick lunchtime check of Phase 3 at Langford Lowfields resulted in me finding the 2nd White-rumped Sandpiper for Notts. A bit tricky at first, but better views once the heat haze subsided. Thanks @Alan_HP_Notts and @ShorelarkHolmes for input to the ID.
