Taking a break from my hibernation to tell the public that it has been 7months since I called out @glovoapp_ng for impersonation my business and defrauding my customers.
This is to update that Glovo did not take any single responsibility or apology till this moment.
We created a fake restaurant on Glovo and Chowdeck using a made-up tax ID, a false address, and photos stolen from a real Lagos restaurant.
Within a few weeks, we had a device, completed onboarding training, and made a sale. techpoint.africa/insight/inv…
I left the country already so… tbh I had no interest to pursue further because the anyhowness in Nigeria is deep rooted and it is only going to be pulling me back so I left it for my peace of mind, put it all behind me.
When my husband and friends shared this article…
with me , It made me feel really vindicated.
Atleast 7months later , someone else has confirmed the same impersonation , identity fraud and public health negligence I accused @glovoapp_ng of

If this is actually true, let’s take down glovo’s app. You can’t be deceiving Nigerians and exposing them to unhygienic food. It’s not just about the deceit. Glock needs to be held accountable.
