First of all, who I choose to vote for is none of your business or anyone else’s. If my choice threatens your existence that’s your own problem not mine because you are not Nigerian than me. I am well educated, I’m perfectly capable of examining candidates’ past records, watching their interviews, reading their manifestos and making an informed decision. Whoever I vote for will be my personal choice, based on who I believe will make a positive difference in Nigeria. I am old enough, educated enough and independent enough to make my own decisions. I don’t need anyone telling me who to vote for. Respect my choice, just as I respect yours. It’s that simple.

Yes !! But if your choice threatens the existence of people around you, don't expect them to keep quiet. I'm from Oyo state and I love Seyi makinde but I will vote for Obi, no problem if you want vote for Seyi. Don't just fucking vote for tinubu !! That man is a threat to all us

Alhaji, you were badly advised and you allowed sycophants around you to misguide you. There was nothing wrong with you joining a political party; but the rookie mistake of taking over a political party without conducting proper due diligence and following the party’s constitution,was/is something an experienced politician like yourself should never have been found in. Stop blaming Bola for your own missteps. You had all opportunities to do the right thing but you still allowed people to deceive you and take your money from you. Instead of blaming Bola, focus on getting your mandate back, appeal the judgement and let your legal team challenge it. Hopefully, you will be able to participate in the election, which you are bound to lose anyways. If something as basic as following due process within the party, could be a problem for you, then what happens if you win the election? So Bola is not your problem, you are.
BOLA CANNOT USE THE COURTS TO ESCAPE THE PEOPLE’S VERDICT; WE ARE ON THE BALLOT — ATIKU Fellow Nigerians, Let no one mistake the latest court ruling for the will of the Nigerian people. No manipulation, conjecture or concoction can erase our place in this contest, silence our campaign or deny Nigerians the right to choose their future. We are on the ballot, and the people must be allowed to decide. Those who boast of having thirty-two governors and claim to have bought, pressured or coerced leaders from other parties into their fold should have no reason to fear a free and fair contest. Yet, instead of presenting their record to Nigerians, they continue to deploy every tactic available to weaken the opposition: political pressure, manufactured narratives, courtroom manoeuvres and attempts to compromise the voters’ register with AI-generated photographs, false names and fictitious identities. These are not the actions of people confident in their record. They are calculated attempts to make genuine competition impossible and push Nigeria towards a one-party state. And what record do they have to defend? This government removed the fuel subsidy overnight without a plan to protect Nigerians. It presided over the steep decline of the naira and allowed food prices to rise beyond the reach of ordinary families. Factories and small businesses have shut their doors. Our young people are leaving in search of hope, while bandits and kidnappers continue to hold communities hostage. Look around you. Market stalls stand empty. Feeding your family has become a daily struggle. Fuel prices keep rising, and silent pain fills homes across the country. Those in power may want you to believe that your suffering does not matter. They may want you to surrender your future before you even reach the ballot box. Do not lose heart. Do not retreat. Your vote is your power, and together, we will take our country back. Let me be clear to every Nigerian who has stood with us: I am in this race. I am not going anywhere. We will be on the ballot. No threat, blackmail or court manoeuvre will make me abandon you or the cause we share. We will resist with all our strength every attempt to turn Nigeria into a one-party state. Nigeria belongs to all its people. Our democracy must remain open to more than one party and more than one voice. If those in power believe in their numbers and their record, let us meet at the polls in a free, fair and credible contest. Our campaign will continue. Our message on the cost of living will not be silenced or derailed. Stay calm, united and resolute. Together, we will fight for a Nigeria where life is affordable and every citizen’s vote counts. Let me say this plainly: Bola cannot use the courts to escape the judgment of Nigerians at the ballot box. Atiku Abubakar Vice President of Nigeria, 1999–2007 Sokoto, Nigeria 6 November 2026

Governance is about listening to the everyday struggles of people and having the courage to find lasting solutions. A few days ago, during my visit to residents of Osborne Foreshore Estate, I was reminded of why we took the decision to build the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge during my time overseeing the Ministry of Works. People needed to spend less time in traffic. Drivers needed relief. Lagos needed better connections to support the growth of the Lekki Peninsula. When we delivered this landmark project alongside Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola, it marked an important moment in the development of our city. Beyond the relief it brought to thousands of daily commuters, the bridge became an iconic part of the Lagos skyline and a symbol of what vision, innovation and purposeful leadership can achieve. Critics may try to rewrite history, make unfair comparisons or turn progress into a political argument but they cannot erase the difference this bridge has made in the lives of the millions of people who use it. I have always believed in clean, transparent and impactful public service. We are focused on what matters and our responsibility is to keep building, renewing infrastructure and making everyday life better for the people of Lagos. That is the work we started and that is the Lagos PROMISE we remain committed to keeping. And when anyone attempts to undermine projects that have made life better for Lagosians, one simple question is worth asking: What have they built?

One would think he received zero votes 🤣🤣. President Tinubu secured 482,283 votes, while Atiku secured 489,045, a difference of just 6,762 votes. It all depends on how you define winning, but if Tinubu can achieve something similar in states like Katsina in 2027, believe me, he has already secured another victory. That is precisely the kind of electoral strategy he deployed to outsmart both Atiku and Obi in 2023. Tinubu Must Stay. #ArewaForAsiwaju #A4A
Tinubu has not won Katsina State in 2023, nor in 2027. Tinubu Must Go!

I was in Court today for my cases and I witnessed an interesting episode before my cases were called. A young lawyer was sent to court by her principal for a matter that was slated for trial. The lawyer on the other side is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria with over 50years of experience. When the matter was called, the young lawyer stood up to inform the court that her principal was in his way to court to handle the matter as she was not briefed to proceed with the trial. Immediately, the court told her to start looking at the file as the matter must proceed. The court stood the matter down for like 2hours. When it was recalled again, the young lawyer’s principal was not still in court and the SAN was prepared to proceed. The SAN put his witness in the box and tendered all the documents. When it was now the turn of the young lawyer to cross examine the witness, she stood up with confidence and said: my Lord, we will like to take a short adjournment to enable us cross-examine the witness. In the interest of justice, I plead to the court to allow us come back. Clearly showing hesitation to adjourn the matter, the court called upon the SAN to respond to the young lady’s application for adjournment. Some of us in court were already thinking the SAN would insist the young lawyer must proceed, so as to gain an unfair advantage in the case, as cross examination is a crucial part of the case. The learned SAN stood up and said: my Lord, I was in this lady’s position 51years ago. My principal gave me a file for a case for trial and when the matter was called upon, clearly I wasn’t ready to go on, I stood up to ask for an adjournment. Thanks to the senior counsel on the other side, who extended grace to me to concede to an adjournment. So it is my turn to extend the same grace to another younger lawyer, and I hope in the future, when she also finds herself in similar situation, she will extend the same grace to the junior lawyer. So my Lord, I will not be objecting the her application for adjournment. Everybody in court including the young lawyer immediately wore a wide smile on their faces. It was a sigh of relief for the young lawyer. Then the judge said to the young lawyer: thank your luck that the SAN extended grace to you, and now I don’t have any option but to grant your request for an adjournment. The judge added however that: the tenacity of the lady not to go on was impressive. But admonished her to always be familiar with the facts of the case and be ready to proceed regardless of whether the principal was coming to court or not.

That’s why we will not allow people like you import it into Yorubaland. You cannot support salafism, Wahabi doctrines and sharia law in a secular society and be acting like you are against terrorism. May your likes never amount to anything in Yorubaland with your radical ideology and agenda.
There’s a serious terrorism problem in Northern Nigeria. A scholar has been killed by terrorists, yet some people are celebrating his death?

If you were in Kaduna today, you would understand that campaign mode has been fully activated, and Governor Uba Sani has been a gracious host for the flag-off of the presidential campaign. The opposition may continue consoling themselves with AI-generated images, but the streets and the venue were packed, and the atmosphere was electric. We were on the ground to witness it all. The elections are upon us, and it is left for the opposition to match this energy and allow Nigerians to decide. Hats off to #ArewaForAsiwaju #A4A.

WHY ATIKU ABUBAKAR IS PARTICULARLY JITTERY ABOUT THE KADUNA FLAG-OFF By Festus Keyamo, SAN, CON In the last few days, ahead of the flag-off of the APC Presidential Campaign Rally in Kaduna State, the ADC Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has launched a blistering online attack against the APC, particularly in the North. The common but cheap tactic is to position cameras in certain places, procure individuals to tear down the posters of the President, and then post the videos online. The other tactic is to disseminate disinformation claiming that any support the President is seen to receive in the North is procured only through the massive deployment of financial resources. Hence the fake letter alleging a N2.3 trillion deployment for the Kaduna rally. The intention is to generate a hoopla that will create a groundswell of public opinion that President Tinubu has been "massively rejected" in the North. The reason for this is simple: Atiku Abubakar was seriously banking on the bulk of Northern votes to see him through in 2027, knowing full well that he has no inroads at all into the South, given the mood of the country that the South deserves to complete eight years of the Presidency. In 2023, he lost across the Middle Belt (all North-Central States) and in ALL Southern States (except Osun State). His original projection was that President Tinubu would not compete for votes in the North and would be restricted to parts of the South. This is the same reason he single-handedly sponsored some unserious presidential candidates from the South, with the aim of dividing southern votes and leaving the North alone for him to raid. However, with the solid APC structures in the North backing the President, Atiku Abubakar has seen that his demographic calculation for the 2027 elections regarding northern votes is dissolving like Andrews Liver Salts in water. Hence the resort to these desperate tactics. He knows that even if he wins in some parts of the North and the President comes a close second, the election is as good as over, because those differences would be wiped out by his heavy defeat in the Middle Belt and the South. Atiku Abubakar thinks he is the Buhari of 2015, who swept the Northern votes. He thinks that was a display of ethnic support. He fails to realise that his corruption-laden past puts him poles apart from a Muhammadu Buhari, and that Northerners do not tolerate such persons with the putrid smell of corruption. Atiku Abubakar is a butterfly that thinks it is a bird.
