The utter disrespect for Charles is wild. Charles carried this whole team for 8 years. This team constantly fucks him over, he went through so much shit with Ferrari but this man wore this team on his sleeve for 8 years and the AUDACITY to say Charles has no respect for the team or doesn't want what's best for them?? Dalam sesi presscon setelah race tadi, Hamilton menyebut pengalaman dan usia bukan masalah dari Charles Leclerc saat ini, melainkan faktor mentalitas. Hal tersebut menyusul kejadian di lap pertama race tadi, dimana Hamilton sendiri juga merasa hal tersebut bukan yang pertama juga, karena ia telah mengamati bagaimana Leclerc saat duel dengan Carlos Sainz, ketika ia masih di Mercedes. Hamilton juga mengaku jika di #BritishGP lalu ia bisa duel dengan Leclerc dan melakukan manuver "kamikaze", tapi menurutnya mengejar hasil double podium ketika ada potensi finish 1-2, sebagai tim sudah sangat baik untuk diraih.
