As listeners of @FCFCPod are fully aware, there is a small portion of the black & gold universe (@lafc, @LAFC3252, @lafc_tsg) and greater LA that is powered by tea. For those who've been asking for years: here is where to get tea (& boba & kombucha) lit around town.

Just preordered this in anticipation for how the sounds bouncing off the tatami here in Kamakura, Japan. In the meanwhile, I drank Nepalese chai and listened to 9 pre-release songs and wrote about the experience here: teawithdweez.substack.com/p/… #tea #substack

New substack up and running. This week features writing on writing, deadlines, Jess Valice paintings, tea mugging, and the general sensation of experiencing the keyboard as a portal.

Listen to why Ray Bradbury, author of 27 novels, didn't believe in college and thought it was "dangerous." Stay for the dazzling monologue on love, hate, creativity, and the irresistible power of feeling over the intellect.

Sharing my perspective on @unrigla’s thread: For months, I questioned why I couldn’t get through to my colleagues during the redistricting process. It seemed overtly racist to me to deny the only Black district in LA of any economic assets.

Six Indigenous-Owned Oaxacan Restaurants In and Around Koreatown to Support ~ L.A. TACO

There are more than 200,000 Oaxacans who call L.A. home, one of the largest outside of Mexico. As a result, L.A., specifically Koreatown, has some of the best Oaxacan restaurants in the country.

The city doesn't keep us safe, so we keep us safe. Per local request, two new crosswalks installed somewhere in Northeast Los Angeles... #CrosswalkCollective

Made 'best of' music mixes since 1999, when I was 13. Check 'em out: open.spotify.com/user/adweez… Bro + cousins +I began squishing our tastes and experiences together into a single mix in 2010. After missing two years for obvious reasons, we are back. Enjoy: mixcloud.com/DweezBruvs/gril…
