Music of Aeniith: these are links to some recordings of music that my husband Eric and I have composed and performed together. All songs are in conlangs that I've created (e.g. Rílin, Tosi, Gotevian).

Another amazing #LCC! I enjoyed the presentations and the conlang relay was especially interesting this time, as we had three rings (normal, conscript, and song rings). I was a part of the song ring. I actually made a (very improvised) recording with two other musicians.
You can listen to it (and some other conlang music I did) here: on.soundcloud.com/gkx8j

Is it possible that at the very beginner level of learning a language I have almost NO interest in learning vocabulary? Like I just want to study grammar and I will do my vocab later. Am I weird? Has anybody noticed something similar?

Behind every #conlang is a conlanger that worries (on some level) if their phonology is explained correctly.
Hey conlangers, if you haven't already, check out the live stream of the Language Creation Conference over on YouTube! It's free to listen and chat. Search "Language Creation Society" (@FiatLingua) and check out the live streams for today and tomorrow!

Now out in @LabPhon! We use an XGBoost extension of the NAF method to investigate temporal patterns of vowel nasalization in Arabana. The findings contribute to our understanding of nasality in Australian languages, but also of mechanisms of sound change.

One common style of poetry in Rílin follows an ABAB rhyming scheme, while insuring stress falls on the second and third to last syllables in each line.
