Okay, so at 4:30 PM Eastern, we'll be going over the Laura Owens sentencing. I'll have some thoughts. And some rage. And probably some scotch. Laura Owens Sentencing WTFery youtube.com/live/GrDh7rEknjY… via @YouTube

MUST WATCH!! A Pennsylvania High School student was just crowned Homecoming King, and immediately turned around and placed the crown on the runner-up instead. The pure joy and emotion in the room said everything. In a culture that often rewards status, attention, and self-interest, a teenager chose to share the spotlight and give his classmate a moment he’ll never forget. That’s real character. That’s leadership. That’s the kind of quiet kindness that actually changes the world for the better. More of this please. 🙏🏻

I've seen many people saying the tiger at Yorkshire Wildlife Park should have been shot when the man entered its enclosure. I couldn't disagree more. From the footage I've seen, it looks extremely difficult to even get into that enclosure in the first place. And from what I've heard, the staff did an incredible job reacting as quickly as they did, while showing restraint and avoiding killing an innocent tiger. These are apex predators. They are extremely dangerous animals that will naturally attack humans when confronted in their territory. Hopefully this magnificent animal isn't put down in the aftermath of this tragedy. The tiger did nothing wrong.
