Jesus prayed for those who persecuted Him, mocked Him, spat on Him, beat Him, struck Him, pushed Him around, placed a crown of thorns on His head, and nailed Him to the cross. He did not pray for their deaths or call upon God to destroy them. Instead, He prayed, asking the Father to forgive them because they did not know what they were doing.
Some of them later repented and turned to Christ after hearing the apostles preach the gospel. Imagine if God had struck them dead instead of giving them the opportunity to repent and be saved!
This is the heart of Jesus: mercy, forgiveness, and a desire for sinners to repent rather than perish. He came to save lives, not to destroy them.

I DID IT! I can finally say the words I’ve been waiting for…
I’M OFFICIALLY AN AUTHOR!
What started as an idea is now a real book with my name on it. What a feeling. This is only the beginning.

My Unitarian sisters did a fantastic job on this debate! I pray that this will lead to more open minded truth seekers reevalualting the Trinity Doctrine

It's not really a mystery at all.
Rather, it's a well-documented doctrinal development from earlier ideas.
It starts in the mid-2nd century with Unitarian Logos Subordinationists, goes through the Council of Nicaea in the early 4th century with almost-Binitarian language, culminates with the Cappadocians and the Council of Constantinople in the late 4th which adds in the Holy Spirit and introduces the ousia-hypostasis language, and is solidified by the Council of Chalcedon in the mid-5th century.
A pretty clear process, tbh.
But it is a contradiction. ;)
The Trinity is not a contradiction. It is a mystery. One God eternally existing as three distinct persons, co-equal and co-eternal. The word Trinity never appears in Scripture. The doctrine is everywhere in it. Matthew 28:19 puts all three persons in a single sentence without explanation, as if it were obvious.

According to the authors of the New Testament, Christ is the human Messiah who did not consciously preexist his birth. Learn more about the theology of the early Christians in my newest book: amzn.to/47jldOc

Why do they always truncate when quoting this verse?
It ends "to the glory of God the Father"
Clue: there is only one God named in this verse!
Every knee will bow before Jesus, both the living and the dead.
Every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Whether willingly now or in the day of judgment, everyone will ultimately acknowledge who Jesus is.
“At the name of Jesus every knee should bow… and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.” Philippians 2:10–11
