Primero que nada, mis más sinceras condolencias a la familia, amigos y seres queridos de Jesús de Miguel. Una tragedia que enluta al fútbol y para la que no existen palabras de consuelo.
Ahora quiero decir algo que quizás genere polémica.
La acción del arquero Jesús Owono fue durísima, imprudente y debe recibir la sanción que corresponda. Eso no está en discusión. Pero hay algo que muchos parecen olvidarse: del otro lado también hay un ser humano, con una familia, sentimientos y una vida por delante.
Fue una jugada que terminó en una tragedia, no una acción con intención de quitarle la vida a alguien.
Hoy veo a miles de personas destrozando al arquero en redes sociales, insultándolo y tratándolo como si fuera un asesino. Y me pregunto: ¿somos conscientes del daño que podemos hacer?
Porque si mañana esta presión termina provocando otra tragedia, muchos de los que hoy lo están destruyendo serán los primeros en publicar mensajes sobre la importancia de la salud mental.
Podemos exigir justicia, responsabilidades y sanciones sin convertir las redes sociales en un tribunal de odio.
Que una tragedia tan dolorosa no termine provocando otra.
Un poco más de humanidad y responsabilidad a la hora de escribir. De los dos lados.
