I am deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. Vijoo Rattansi, a remarkable educationist, philanthropist, mentor, mother and friend.
I had the privilege of serving alongside her as a Trustee of the Northern Kenya Education Trust (NOKET), where I witnessed firsthand her generosity, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to expanding educational opportunities for those who needed them most.
Dr. Vijoo, THANK YOU for giving me the opportunity to learn from you firsthand, how to lead, how to give, and how to treat people. I promise to honour the responsibility to carry that standard forward.
