If anyone doesn't know, I'm Type 1 Diabetic, so November especially means a lot to me, personally.

I really liked Superman (2025), but it's a bit dubious for James Gunn to talk about "filmmaker freedom" when Supergirl felt like it had a lot chopped out and apparently Clayface has a similar problem.
Meanwhile Superman felt like it barely cut anything.
James Gunn pushes back on claims the DCU has no plan.
He says some stories are standalone like the Guardians films (CLAYFACE), while others build a larger narrative (the Superman Saga), and each should work on its own.
He adds the "8 to 10 year roadmap" was never just story points: it covered building around Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman, growing Krypto, John Stewart and Peacemaker into "diamond" characters, filmmaker freedom, and multiple tones and ratings.

“I cannot imagine figuring out how to raise a newborn without ChatGPT” is the single saddest sentence i’ve ever heard
Jimmy Fallon asks Sam Altman if he uses ChatGPT to raise the baby he has with his husband, and his answer is hilarious
Jimmy Fallon: “You, you and your husband just had a baby. Congratulations, yeah. How old? How old is the baby?”
Sam Altman: “Eight month old?”
Jimmy Fallon: “Are you loving him?”
Sam Altman: “So much. I have no non-cliched thing to say, but it is by far so much better than anything anyone tells you. I just so incredibly happy.”
Jimmy Fallon: “And do you use ChatGPT when, when raising your baby?”
Sam Altman: “I do. I mean I feel kind of bad about it because I, we have this like genius level at everything, intelligence sitting there like waiting to unravel the mysteries of humanity.”
“And I'm like, why my kid stop dropping his pizza on the floor and laughing?”
“So I feel like I'm not asking a good enough question.”
“But it is, I don't know. I cannot imagine having gone through like figuring out how to raise a newborn without ChatGPT. Clearly people did it for a long time, no problem.”

Batman by George Pratt. A remarkable piece of expressionist artwork, with striking blue tones.

Jun Takeuchi says the RE Engine REmakes & new titles are a big plan to merge the storytelling, whereas the OGs had no plan.
With discussion of RE7 being a reboot years ago, I guess we all underestimated what that meant.
I mean…it kinda is the RE1 of the RE Engine, is it not?

Travis Knight says that LAIKA will never use generative AI in their films.
“AI is theft. It’s the ingestion of years and years and years of human creativity and ingenuity, regurgitated back. It has no humanity. It has no spirit.”

Me fascina como Clayface y Brand New Day logran por un momento darle el foco de atención a actores de reparto con roles pequeños. Varios logran robarse el show. Es un recurso fantástico en ambos casos.
the way akira yamaoka perfectly captures longing and sadness in this track, paired with the scene's haunting, eerie atmosphere, is what makes the moment so unforgettable. poor lisa garland

Matt Hagen went through all that pain and still learned absolutely NOTHING. 😭
His best friend warned him about the first woman, and he ignored him until her boyfriend literally destroyed his face. Then Caitlyn helps him get his life and appearance back, and instead of respecting the fact that she’s already with someone, he starts pursuing her too.
The craziest part is that Matt genuinely thinks he deserves Caitlyn just because she helped him. Bro survived a nightmare that should’ve changed his entire perspective, but the only thing that changed was his face. 💀
Clayface is proof that suffering doesn’t automatically make you a better person. Sometimes, you survive the consequences of your actions and still refuse to learn from them.#Clayface
One lesson in #Clayface is men rarely learn a lesson. He was told by his best friend that the woman he was talking to was not only dangerous but already had a boyfriend and what does he do? He disregards his friend, sleeps with her, then gets his face ripped to shreds by her boyfriend.
He then meets another woman, who is also in a relationship, who helps him fix that face and what does he do? Disregards her feelings and relationship and tries to get with her. Dude never changed, he was always him.

I will never get over how every cg cutscene in sh1 was made entirely by takayoshi sato. may not seem as impressive now to some fans but he practically lived in his office for 2-3 years just to give us this horror masterpiece that would change the entire psychological horror genre
