After over 8 years at @IcahnMountSinai from postdoc to instructor to research assistant professor in @AkbarianLab I will be joining a biotech startup in NYC in a few weeks. Leaving academia was a difficult decision, and I have a lot of mixed feelings about this career change 1/3
