I am delighted to welcome Diego López to Burnley Football Club as our new Chief Football Officer.   This is an important appointment for Burnley. Diego shares our ambition for what we can achieve together and our commitment to raising standards across the whole football club.   He will oversee our football operations, recruitment and sporting structure as we build the foundations to strengthen the club for years to come.   I am excited about the role he will play in shaping our future.   Welcome to Burnley, Diego.

I would like to personally thank Nicky for his hard work and commitment during his time at Burnley Football Club.   Nicky has given his all to the role, and I know how much time and effort he has put into his work with the players and staff.   These decisions are never easy, but I want to express my sincere appreciation for the professionalism and dedication he has shown throughout his time with us.   I wish Nicky and his family all the very best for the future.

We are always looking at how we can improve the way we communicate with our supporters, and I recognise that there are areas where we need to do better. I hope that some of the answers shared during our most recent FAB meeting help provide greater clarity and give some insight into my thoughts on everything that is currently going on. I’d like to personally thank our Fan Advisory Board members who took the time to join us on Wednesday. I really value the openness of these conversations, as well as the questions and views that were shared. I know there are strong feelings around some of the issues we discussed, and I appreciate everyone taking the time to engage with us directly. assets.ctfassets.net/pxdskn6…

Bienvenido Monchi! Looking forward to our journey together. Forever Forward.

From the very beginning, we set out with an ambition to make Burnley FC Women a fully professional team. Their promotion to WSL 2 yesterday is a truly special moment, both personally and for this football club. As a father to three daughters, I’ve always had a personal desire to see our women’s team thrive and play a meaningful role in the exciting progress we’re witnessing in women’s football across the world. This achievement is the result of years of hard work behind the scenes. Particularly from Lola, the players, and all of the staff who have been part of this journey. I’m incredibly proud to see that dedication rewarded. This is an important milestone for Burnley Football Club, and we look forward to what the future holds for Burnley FC Women. Congratulations @BurnleyFCWomen 🎉⚽️

What a privilege it was to visit with both the Burnley and Espanyol Academy as they played in the 1900 Cup! Excited to see more like this in the future!

¡Felicitats a @rcdefemeni per la gran victòria d'avui! ⚽️ ¡Felicidades a @rcdefemeni por la gran victoria de hoy! ⚽️

Clarets. It was a very disappointing result today but I am so grateful for the support you showed the team. It felt very unfair to not even earn a point today, but I think everyone inside Turf Moor saw the heart, courage and character the team showed. To come back the way we did, to fight for every ball, and to keep believing until the final whistle, that was a performance full of pride. We move forward together. Always. UTC.

A well deserved point away today. Thank you to all the fans who joined us and showed your support. ❤️

What a great weekend to be a Claret! Congrats to the women’s Claret team for absolutely dominating Blackburn today with a score of 12-0! Wonderful work, ladies! Let’s keep it up!
