Chester Marathon yesterday 3 hours 12. Not my best, but it was never going to be a PB. A serious injury since April meant training was non-existent. Anyway, time to hang up my marathon shoes for a while. Our baby boy is coming this winter and I can’t wait 🩵 @molly_burton

Is this the best you’ve got? She’s on leave after a long and successful election campaign while Parliament is in recess (oh, and not under Covid restrictions either). Rayner terrifies the right because she’s real and relatable in a way they can never match.
Angela Rayner has been Deputy Prime Minister for 56 days. She’s disappeared from public view as Two Tier Keir warns of doomsday coming for all of us. Yet here she is raving into the early hours at one of the most expensive party clubs in Ibiza. What an absolute piss take.

Tough chat with @molly_burton last night working out which actor she was talking about. She began with “Daniel Craig-Lewis”, which I presumed was either Daniel Craig or Daniel Day-Lewis. After half an hour of painful questioning, it turns out it was in fact Damian Lewis.

It’s so uncomfortable to watch someone constantly being singled out and patronised because she’s a working class woman. This is appalling.
🔥 @KemiBadenoch gives Angela Rayner and Labour a reality check.

Anyone know how James Cleverly is taking being in Opposition?
There have been some rumours about me floating around Westminster for some time. There is no point in trying to hide this any longer. It’s true. #warhammer40k

1.3million people in England are on the social housing waiting list. 110,000 families in England are living in temporary accommodation (homeless). It’s about time someone did something about it, Gavin.
They have only been in power for a few days, but Labour have already confirmed that they will: ❌ Concrete over the Green Belt ❌ Force government housing targets on communities ❌ Ignore local voices in the planning process Labour thinks that Whitehall knows better than you.

And the first MP to be announced by the mother of the bride.
BREAKING: History is made in Macclesfield as Tim Roca becomes the first Labour MP in the Macclesfield constituency. Roca beat his Conservative counterpart with a 9,120 majority. @BJTC_UK

The pencil Karens are back! Always great entertainment.
My polling station was using pencils for people to cast their vote. If you haven’t voted yet and you plan to, take a black pen with you.

They use pencils because they don't run out after they've been stored for years on end. Sometimes the simplest answer is the truth, but it's also the hardest to believe. But the hoax is spread. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voting_pe…

Yeah let’s promote a culture where people work all night and have no personal life. That’s the dream.
.@Keir_Starmer has said he’s planning to clock-off everyday at 6pm when he’s Prime Minister, how privileged! Working people are often in the office 8:30-18:30, earning £50k< per year and a commute to add to it. All while Slacking Starmer be working from home on £120k!

Spot on. It’s unwatchable.
The artificial time constraints are already annoying. These debates should last 90 minutes to 2 hours and let people finish a sentence. #ITVdebate
