It’s been a contentious week for auto brands and marketing decision making. This spot from Volvo is absolutely incredible- builds a human connection and leans in heavily to the traditional perceptions of their brand. So sick

Volvo posted a 3 min and 46 second ad on Instagram, shot by Hoyte Van Hoytema, the cinematographer of Interstellar and Oppenheimer. It goes against every single rule you can think about as a social lead. Length. Format. Over-produced. Every comment under the ad said it immediately put Volvo in their consideration set. It's fucking fantastic.

I have been to many, many, many, MANY incredible sporting events at Suncorp Stadium. I have never, ever, ever, EVERRRRRR, experienced anything like that. If this place had a roof it would be in New South Wales right now. #Fifawwc #GoMatildas

Best thing about the St Peter’s @PeacocksMBB story is easily the name of their home gym. “Run Baby Run Arena”. Outstanding stuff. #NCAAMBB #MarchMadness

Warnie was larger than life - and transcended the game, inspiring people across generations and cultures. Never bowled a successful spin delivery in my life but always dreamed of rolling them over like the king.
