This week, Google introduced something new: Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash. In my view, the most interesting aspect here isnโt the increase in video duration from 10 to 15 seconds.
Whatโs more significant is the direction in which this technology is evolving.
For a long time, AI-based video generation felt like a gamble: youโd craft a prompt, wait for the result, and hope that the characters wouldnโt suddenly change their faces, outfits, or transform beyond recognition.
Google is aiming to solve precisely this problem.
Omni 1.2 Flash offers better consistency across scenes, more precise control via reference materials, and more natural-sounding dialogue. Notably, it also allows for the editing of previously generated video through an ongoing dialogue with the AI - you can adjust backgrounds, lighting, weather conditions, or even specific objects within the frame, all without having to start from scratch.
While this might seem like a minor improvement, the implications are actually quite profound: it fundamentally shifts the creative process. Instead of generating dozens of variations in the hope that one might work, creators can now iteratively refine the output until it perfectly matches their original vision.
There are also clear practical advantages: the video duration has been extended to 15 seconds, costs have dropped by 30% compared to the previous version, and generating video at 720p resolution now costs $0.07 per second. This is highly attractive for content creators and businesses that handle large volumes of video material.
That said, this isnโt the final destination. Google itself acknowledges that dynamic sports scenes, abrupt shifts in the narrative, and complex physics still require further refinement. Moreover, stability in a demo reel is one thing; reliability when executing thousands of real-world projects is quite another.
Itโs also worth noting another detail: videos generated by the neural network include an invisible watermark called SynthID. As it becomes increasingly difficult to distinguish AI-generated content from actual footage, knowing the origin of the material has become critically important.
In my view, the real breakthrough isnโt that AI will start creating "more beautiful" videos, but rather that people will gain the ability to fully control the process - transforming their ideas into a final result that can rightfully be called their own original work.
We are moving beyond simply crafting prompts toward full-fledged AI direction. And that opens up a far more compelling future. ๐
โ๏ธ THE MACHINES ARE ABOUT TO WAKE UP.
@elysium_machine
Before Elysium existed, 4,444 machines were already waiting in the dark. Now they're getting ready to come alive.
The $MACHINE launch is scheduled for November 6 at 15:00 UTC. And the concept is quite different from a typical token launch.
Here's how it works:
๐น 4444 total units. $MACHINE uses the ERC-404 standard, combining fungible tokens with NFTs.
๐น Buy 1 full token and a random Dark Machine materializes in your wallet. There are five generations, each with a different reward multiplier.
๐น Want to activate it? You must consecrate the machine. This permanently burns 1 $MACHINE token and turns it into a permanent NFT.
๐ฅ Only Lit Machines earn HYPE. The reward pool is funded by 2% of trading volume and 4% royalties from NFT sales.
Rarity matters too. The rarest generation, Colossus, has only 375 machines and a 3x reward multiplier.
There are some interesting details:
No presale or private round, according to the project.
One canonical $MACHINE/HYPE pool.
The LP is claimed to be permanently locked.
The 3% trading fee is split between machine rewards and the team.
But there is a catch worth remembering.
Consecration is irreversible. You permanently give up the liquid token, and your future HYPE rewards depend on trading activity and the size of the reward pool. The yield figures shown on the website are illustrative, not guaranteed returns.
I like the idea of turning a token into a permanent earning collectible. But the real test will be whether trading volume and NFT activity can support the reward system over time.
The machines are waking up. Let's see what happens when the lights come on. โ๏ธ๐ฅ

Let's talk about @Pocket_Dragons_ and their "rubber band effect" ๐
I took a closer look at the mechanics, and the idea is pretty interesting.
Instead of relying only on people buying NFTs and hoping the floor price goes up, Pocket Dragons wants to give holders different reasons to collect, trade and burn their dragons.
Here's how I understand it:
๐ฐ Where the money goes
30% of revenue goes to a dragon reserve for buybacks on OpenSea.
Another 20% goes into an ETH reward pool for people who burn their dragons.
The rest supports the ecosystem and its development.
๐ What happens when prices fall?
Let's say a dragon drops from 1 ETH to 0.5 ETH.
You could sell it for 0.5 ETH, or burn it and potentially receive a reward from the ETH pool.
If the reward is worth more than the market price, burning becomes the more attractive option.
Fewer dragons in circulation could also make the remaining ones more scarce.
๐ What happens when prices rise?
Selling becomes more attractive, and higher trading activity could generate more revenue from OpenSea fees.
That revenue can then support both buybacks and ETH rewards.
That's the "rubber band effect": the project wants to create incentives that work in both directions, instead of relying entirely on rising prices.
๐ And what about Honor Score?
The project also uses badges to reward participation.
Bronze, Silver and Gold badges, along with the dragons themselves, contribute to your Honor Score.
A higher score means a larger share of credits, which can be exchanged for dragons from the reserve.
My personal take?
I like the idea of giving NFT holders more options than simply buying, holding and waiting for someone to pay more.
But the real question is whether the numbers actually work.
How much ETH does the ecosystem generate? How are burn rewards calculated? And can the project sustain those rewards without relying on constant trading?
The mechanics are interesting, but they don't guarantee a floor price or a profit.
I will definitely take part in this adventure, Iโll soon find out what comes of it, and I believe everything will turn out wonderfully.

๐ฅ WHAT A NIGHT IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE!
Nine matches. 44 goals. One historic thrashing. And some results nobody saw coming.
๐ฎ๐น Como 9-1 Lens
The biggest shock of the night! Como scored SIX goals after the break and equalled the Champions League record for the largest winning margin. A 9-1 away victory is absolutely wild. Who had that on their bingo card?
๐น๐ท Fenerbahรงe 3-2 Liverpool
Liverpool twice took the lead, but Fenerbahรงe refused to give up. Vedat Muriqi scored the winner in the 79th minute, ending Liverpool's winning run in dramatic fashion.
๐ช๐ธ AEK Athens 2-3 Real Madrid
Madrid looked in trouble after conceding twice, but Federico Valverde rescued the victory with a stoppage-time winner. Another reminder that you can never count Real Madrid out.
๐ด Manchester City 3-2 RB Leipzig
Erling Haaland struck late to secure another huge win for City. When the pressure is on, the Norwegian keeps delivering.
๐ต๐น Porto 4-1 Napoli
Porto turned a tight game into a convincing victory, scoring three times after the break. A massive result for the Portuguese side.
Other results:
โฝ Arsenal 2-1 Slavia Prague
โฝ Dortmund 2-1 Real Betis
โฝ Club Brugge 2-1 PSV
โฝ Viking 4-1 Sabah
My biggest takeaway? The Champions League is becoming increasingly unpredictable. Even the biggest clubs are struggling to control games, and teams like Como are proving that reputation means nothing once the whistle blows.
The competition is wide open, and I can't wait to see what happens next!

Bitcoin is back above $80,000, and it makes me wonder: could the market be more resilient than weโve come to believe?
Following the Binance hack - and amidst the uncertainty surrounding the U.S. midterm elections - the price of BTC has recovered to around $80,500, while ETH has jumped nearly 6% to $2,433.
However, itโs not just the price action that caught my attention.
What matters is how the market responded to the negative news. The relatively minor dip following the Binance hack may point to a maturing market. The incident affected the exchangeโs "hot" wallets, not the Bitcoin network itself.
And that is a crucial distinction.
Bitcoin ETFs, institutional custodians, and cold storage solutions now offer alternatives to keeping funds on centralized exchanges. Itโs possible that investors are finally learning to separate the risks associated with crypto infrastructure from the risks inherent to the cryptocurrency itself.
Thereโs another interesting detail: futures trading volume rose by 27%, while open interest increased by only 3%. This suggests that traders were primarily adjusting existing positions rather than aggressively ramping up leverage.
Of course, a recovery alone doesnโt prove that the market is healthy.
Throughout November, Iโll be keeping an eye on a few key factors:
- Can BTC hold within the $76,000โ$78,000 range and build enough momentum to push above $80,000โ$82,000?
- Will Binance be able to regain user trust through greater transparency regarding its reserves and withdrawal processes?
- Will institutional capital return to Bitcoin ETFs?
In my view, the market has become better at handling negative news. However, resilience is not the same as security, and a strong rebound does not mean that risks have vanished.
If Bitcoin can hold its current levels without excessive leverage, that would be a far more significant signal than simply reclaiming the $80,000 mark.
For now, I remain cautiously optimistic. The coming weeks will reveal whether we are witnessing a genuine recovery or just another short-lived rebound.

๐ Thursday Night Football is back!
Week 9 kicks off with a fascinating AFC showdown as the Jacksonville Jaguars visit the Baltimore Ravens.
๐ M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore
๐ Kickoff: November 6, 01:15 UTC
๐บPrime Video
Jacksonville comes in at 5-2 and is looking to strengthen its position at the top of the AFC South. Baltimore is 4-4 and desperately needs a win to get its season back on track.
But there's a huge storyline tonight.
๐จ Lamar Jackson is out with a thumb injury, and backup Tyler Huntley is also unavailable. That means undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano is expected to make his first NFL start against a Jaguars team that has scored 73 points in its last two games.
Jacksonville's offense is firing on all cylinders, but Baltimore still has Derrick Henry and a home crowd ready to make some noise.
Can the Ravens pull off an upset with a rookie quarterback, or will the Jaguars take advantage of Baltimore's injury crisis?
I'm expecting a tough night for the Ravens, but never count out a team playing at home on Thursday Night Football.
Let's get this Week 9 party started! ๐ฅ

I took a closer look at OLY, studied the projectโs whitepaper, and compared it to similar DeFi protocols. The concept is interesting.
The protocol employs a different approach to building its treasury. Instead of relying primarily on a bonding mechanism, OLY accumulates ETH through a tax on token sales.
Here is how it works:
๐น 50% of the tax (in ETH) goes into the treasury (as stETH).
๐น 16% is allocated to liquidity provision.
๐น 16% is used for buybacks and token burns.
๐น 16% is distributed as staking rewards.
๐น 2% is contributed to the Genesis fund.
Whatโs notable here? The protocol aims to transform selling pressure into ETH reserves, rewards for stakers, and a reduction in the total token supply.
Now, OLY is also expanding its presence on Robinhood Chain, with plans to build a new financial ecosystem around liquidity, tokenized stocks and staking rewards.
Here's what they're working on:
๐น OLY Liquidity Pools: Multiple taxed trading pairs designed to generate ongoing protocol rewards.
๐น Tokenized stock liquidity: Providing liquidity to tokenized stock pools as a potential long-term source of protocol rewards.
๐น Robinhood staking rewards: A new distribution pool where OLY stakers can receive rewards directly on Robinhood Chain.
๐น OLY Bank: A new financial ecosystem is in the works, with more details expected soon.
This could give OLY more utility beyond staking and buybacks. But these are announced plans, not proof of a sustainable business model.

๐ฅ Champions League delivered another crazy night!
Tuesday was all about comebacks, dominant performances and a few serious statements.
๐ซ๐ท PSG absolutely destroyed Villarreal 6-0. Six goals, four of them in just eight minutes! Paris are now on 12 points and looking like one of the strongest teams in the competition.
๐ด Manchester United came back from 0-2 down to beat Roma 3-2. Matheus Cunha scored twice in the final minutes to turn Old Trafford upside down. What a comeback!
๐ต Barcelona made a statement with a 3-0 win over Aston Villa. Lamine Yamal opened the scoring, while Raphinha added two goals after the break.
๐ฉ๐ช Bayern Munich beat Atlรฉtico Madrid 2-0, with 18-year-old Lennart Karl scoring the opener. Another reminder that the next generation is already taking over.
โซ Inter continued their impressive run with a 3-0 win away at Feyenoord. Three goals, another clean sheet, and a very convincing performance.
๐บ๐ฆ Shakhtar Donetsk suffered a narrow 0-1 defeat to Sporting CP. A tough result, but the fight for qualification is far from over.
Other results:
Galatasaray 2-0 Stuttgart
LASK 4-0 Slovan Bratislava

Hiraeth.
In the living wordmap of FREEDZ, the word sits at the center like a quiet gravity well. Red lines radiate outward - to eth, rekt, ethmeta, samieth, frendz, yas, kyc, and countless others - forming a constellation of association that no single definition could ever hold.
Hiraeth is the Welsh word for a longing that has no fixed address. It is homesickness for a place that may never have existed, or that once existed but can never be returned to in the same way. It is not mere nostalgia. It is the ache of something essential that remains just out of reach - a feeling language itself struggles to contain, which is why the word survives in its original form, largely untranslated.
For centuries we have fed machines words, hoping they might help us map, measure, and eventually master the contours of meaning. Yet hiraeth resists that mapping. It does not resolve. It persists. In FREEDZ these words no longer serve only their original purpose. They have become nodes in a shared topology - a cartography of relation rather than definition. The connections themselves become the terrain.
What does it mean when a word of untranslatable longing is linked to eth, to rekt, to the mechanics of digital identity and exchange? Perhaps it suggests that even in the most abstract architectures of value and code, the old human ache still travels. We build systems. We mint symbols. We burn and rank and observe. And still, somewhere in the network, a line runs from the untranslatable to the operational, from the felt absence of home to the presence of relation.
Hiraeth does not ask to be solved. It asks to be recognized as one of the forces that keeps words in motion long after we have given them to the machines. In the wordmap it is no longer alone. It is connected. And in that connection, the longing finds a new, temporary geography - not a return, but a continuation.
The system observes. The words remain in transit. Their journey is not finished.

NEAR just voted to turn the token printer down again.
House of Stake passed HSP-029 with ~99.96% support. It lowers the max annual issuance ceiling from 2.5% to 1.6% over the next 24 months (a gradual ~3.75 bps drop each month).
This is the second cut in about a year - they already went from 5% โ 2.5% in late 2025. The idea is simple: the bootstrapping phase is largely over, validators are oversubscribed, and high issuance was mostly transferring value from the ~57% of supply that isnโt staked to those who do stake, while adding sell pressure.
What it means in practice:
- Daily new NEAR drops from ~89.5k โ ~57.3k once fully implemented
- Roughly 11.8M fewer NEAR over the first two years, ~66M fewer over six years
- Supply ends up about 4.36% smaller than if they kept the old ceiling
- Staking yield is projected to fall from ~5.27% โ ~3.37% (assuming current participation rates)
The 90/10 split (stakers/treasury) stays the same. Itโs just one parameter change.
Important caveat: this isnโt live yet. It still needs Security Council review, a 90-day grace period, and validators to upgrade. Until then, the 2.5% ceiling remains.
Overall, itโs a clear, transparent move toward lower long-term dilution and a more verifiable supply schedule. Less free money printed means less constant sell pressure - which is usually good for holders who arenโt pure yield farmers.

My Upshot prediction paid off! ๐ฏ
The forecast that "the floor price for CryptoPunks will drop below 31 ETH" proved correct (YES): at the time the result was locked in, the floor price on OpenSea was 30.99 ETH or lower.
Currently, the CryptoPunks floor price on OpenSea is around 30.41 ETH - which, at the current exchange rate, comes to approximately $68,500.
Winning $15 by correctly spotting a small shift in a market where fluctuations can reach into the thousands is a great result. Iโll take that win! ๐
And an important detail: itโs the floor price in ETH that counts, not the value in dollars.
