🚨 HONKAI: STAR RAIL LEAKERS ORDERED TO PAY $150,000!
Guys, miHoYo is taking leaks seriously, and this latest court ruling really shows it.
A Chinese court has ordered 2 individuals to jointly pay 1 million yuan (approximately $150,000) after illegally obtaining and distributing unreleased Honkai: Star Rail test content.
According to miHoYo's legal department, the individuals shared unreleased game builds, character models, skills and gameplay footage. One even provided instructions that allowed others to access unreleased content themselves.
The court ruled that the material constituted protected trade secrets and ordered them to stop the infringement and publish public statements for 30 consecutive days.
The ruling is already legally effective.
That's a pretty expensive reminder of how seriously developers can take unauthorized leaks.

Extraterrestrial Satellite Communication | Ellen
"Thanks for requesting me. Ellen Joe, subpar employee of Victoria Housekeeping, at your service. You need me to make omurice, cast a deliciousness spell on your coffee, or... clean out some pests? ...You aren't actually gonna order the first two, are you?"
Diligently slacking off, punctually late... Today is just another day of this working gal getting defeated by her alarm clock!
Despite having to do holiday homework even in another world, and frequently falling asleep standing up despite being the tour group's bodyguard...
But please, whatever you do, don't mess with her. Aside from that languid tail, she's also got razor-sharp shark teeth.

Happy Birthday Zhao 丨 This Kind of Cake Doesn't Exist
"Carrot purée, minced spinach... Who ordered this thing? It's chock-full of veggies and way too tough to cut through."
"No, that's not what I meant! There's no need to change a cake!"
"The timing's perfect, actually. I'm sick of all that rich, greasy meat. Let's keep it light today!"

I like the symbolism. Everything in the past with her playing archon is like a dream and we're the "terribly noisy voice" that woke her up. Swimming with the fish in the underwater world is like a reminder that all Fontainians used to be oceanids with focalors as their leader.
