🧵 GoPlausible’s latest announcement builds on infrastructure already documented in July. An x402 facilitator supporting @Algorand, @base and @solana Now: an AP2–x402 demo, a planned public service and a PLAUSIBLE protocol upgrade. Here’s what’s live and what to watch next. 👇 Start with July 24. @Algorand published an introduction to @GoPlausible’s x402 Facilitator, describing it as live on mainnet. It supported Algorand, Base and Solana across mainnet and testnet through one endpoint. Multichain payment support was already documented. Its job: verify and settle x402 payments. The service also included a public dashboard, a directory populated from successful settlements, transaction receipts and AI-powered data queries. Payment execution and visibility into that activity were brought together. @Algorand received native AVM and ASA support. The facilitator also offered MCP integration and API documentation so agents could discover and use it. That provided developers with tools for charging per API request, data lookup or content access. Fast-forward to October 26. @GoPlausible says it integrated AP2 with x402 and used that integration in an agentic-commerce demonstration before Google representatives. That is GoPlausible’s account of the demo; it does not establish a Google endorsement. In the same post, GoPlausible said a public service would launch that week. It attributed the delay to work on upgrading its PLAUSIBLE protocol for multichain support, with additional announcements expected alongside it. Those are announced next steps. The distinction matters. The July article already described a public, multichain x402 facilitator. The October post discusses AP2 integration and a broader protocol upgrade. The release details should clarify exactly what is being added to the existing service. What I’m watching: → The public service and documentation → The AP2–x402 workflow → Networks supported by the upgraded protocol → Examples developers can reproduce Those details will show how the announcement translates into usable infrastructure. GoPlausible has documented payment infrastructure to build on. The next chapter is about what its AP2 integration and PLAUSIBLE upgrade add and how @Algorand fits into that wider offering. A development worth following closely. 👀 July background: algorand.co/blog/introducing…
Fact: @GoPlausible was literally the first ever service integrating AP2 and x402 and used it for an agentic commerce demo to @Google officials. The public service is coming up this week. The delay was because of some internal errands we needed to take care of to upgrade our #PLAUSIBLE protocol to support multichain and now it is almost finished and we will announce it beside some other great stuff we have been working on for months now.

Algorand (@Algorand) has signed its State Proofs with Falcon, a NIST-standardized post-quantum scheme, since 2022. In November 2025 it ran its first post-quantum $ALGO mainnet transaction. Block proposals still use Ed25519. bsc.news/post/algorand-quant…

This is huge news for @Algorand Canadian bank @VersaBank is piloting tokenized deposits on Algorand. ~$5B in assets, this is a great test case that will likely signal to other banks $ALGO value prop - particularly as a quantum solution. cryptonews.net/news/blockcha…

Algorand is become a dominant force in the stablecoin game. Major networks like @SuiNetwork, @StellarOrg and @Ripple's $XRP Ledger have all see serious reductions in their stablecoin supplies over the past week. The same is not true for @AlgoFoundation's @Algorand, however, which has seen a +10% increase over the period. algorand:native's stablecoin supply now stands at $99.5M.

THE BLOCK: A researcher published 11 unpatched flaws in VPN service Tailscale, arguing that “infrastructure is vulnerable today.” In lab tests, a user with approved Tailscale SSH access could gain root access and spread to other devices on the network. Tailscale has not yet issued a fix. Tailscale is a VPN service, built on WireGuard, that people use to log into their own computers and servers from anywhere. Umbrel, a home server platform used to run bitcoin nodes, calls it “the easiest way” to reach an Umbrel remotely in its support docs. Erica Windisch of Cyberdione Labs ran the tests between Oct. 22 and 24 on Tailscale’s latest client. Her report, linked below, says to turn off SSH forwarding for now. Tailscale VP of Engineering Mike Shaver said on Reddit that the company has received the report and is “not recommending that everyone disable Tailscale SSH.” He said the issues concern what happens after someone is authorized to connect, which “isn’t the same as an unauthenticated attacker being able to connect to arbitrary machines.” In a reply, Shaver confirmed the flaws affect Tailscale’s own SSH feature, not regular SSH run over a Tailscale connection. Tailscale plans to publish a security advisory with patches.
