Hey, all! Since Algorithms Magazine didn't happen, I'll be closing the accounts associated with it and focusing instead on the site where I'll be adding things one piece at a time: STEAMblender.com
Please follow @KIKIvsIT and @STEAMblender for the latest info! #CSK8
I want to thank all of you who tried to support the Kickstarter campaign. Unfortunately, it was not successful.
Kiki has started a #Patreon page to keep making the same kind of content that the magazine would have produced. Read more here:

The micro:bit by @microbit_edu is by far the fastest, most simple, least intimidating piece of physical computing hardware that I've used in a LONG time. This video is just the intro from what I went on to create in my first hands-on micro:bit experience.

We're down to the wire and funding seems to be stuck at around 25%.
Who do you know that believes that every student deserves the opportunity to learn computer science...and have FUN doing it?
New perk today!
For $150, Kickstarter patrons can have 30 copies of our first issue donated to the next Title I school in our queue. A great way to work toward making sure that everyone gets the opportunity to learn computer science. #CSforAll #CSK8

We're a single $50 donation away from being 25% funded. Share the Kickstarter and help us get there by breakfast!

Some kids carry around with them the burden of a bad reputation. Be the teacher who gives them a fresh start. Be the teacher who sees in them the potential that their parents see. YOU can be the teacher that helps them “turn the corner.”
We have passed 20% funding in just 5 days! At this rate, our campaign will fund with extra time to spare.

True! But young kids still need creative movement time. They need to build things and hold things...
