Yeah I was a big repeater of the first point and now I'm actually extremely satisfied that discord is indexing stuff
So goomba one is happy I'll tell you that

discord did to a limited extent as well though, but yeah both replaced sorta different communities
reddit.com/r/XboxSupport/s/B… actually no it seems like it*is a platform thing* and Xbox also limits the max save size. Someone on the PS5 said they don't have this limit
why is everyone suddenly pretending that Nintendo would never do such a thing as enforce a max save state limit on games?
Especially when they already enforce that games dont write too often onto the NAND

yeah this has been done since like the beginning of time.. the whole core solo being this same concept of the core duo for example
it's not btw, it IS likely a microsoft thing because it's on all platforms feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en…
I mean yes I now know its a microsoft limitation: feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en… but it isn't as implausible as you suggested especially considering that nintendo already limits how many times a game can write to the nand on switch 2 wccftech.com/nintendo-switch…
you're right, it seems to be a sort of arbritrarily enforced limit by microsoft feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en… and I'm guessing they just kept it like that on all platforms
that's... game size not save state size
and nintendo controls the OS so they can obviously choose how much each game can save, I said "probably" because I'm not sure if they do but the OS can def enforce maximum save files. This is common sense
really? I'm not a gamer so I never really knew but I thought back when i played minecraft on my xbone i had bigger worlds

discord has something called "forum channels" which have been killing actual forums too. You should not need to join to see this. OFTC IRC has been indexed by google for ages and no one complains about this.

it'd be cool if steam let you do like a one time license transfer from a digital game --> CD/DVD/USB media somehow tied to some unique identifier in the media (may need to be a valve provided device) for physical ownership and offline use too
