Hey #EmailGeeks! 👋 I finally dusted off my Medium account and did some science-ing on @gmail 's “102KB” clipping limit with some controlled tests on on different TXT, AMP, and HTML MIME part sizes. Hope you guys find it useful! alicelicode.medium.com/does-…

Are my nerd worlds colliding? 😳 Logged into my Google Dev Workspace just to see this "Defy limits with Antigravity" popup just in time for #WickedForGood ...

Also to note that it only works in Chrome (the top 2 browsers are Firefox & Safari)

Surprisingly (and thankfully?) it doesn't work in Apple Mail or Outlook for MacOS though...

So I decided to try testing HDR images in email (because I'm an #EmailGeek, duh) to see if this was a possibility and... it is 🫠 Here are phone pics of how it looks in Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, and Outlook (web)

Has anyone seen HDR emojis on Slack yet? Basically they stay at 100% eye-searing brightness and sometimes dims the rest of the screen to appear even brighter ☠️ Being my anxious self, I worry about Accessibility when someone decides they want their logos in HDR to "make it pop"

Hi friends 💜 I have a (verified!) Bluesky now if you'd like to hang out with me over there -- 🦋 bsky.app/profile/aliceli.cod… I'm still keeping this account around for the time being, though!

It’s okay to be jealous of me 💅 because I left #StaffPlusNewYork with the most awesome takeaway of all: A genuine @whereistanya autograph on my well-loved ink-stained copy of "The Staff Engineer's Path: A Guide for Individual Contributors Navigating Growth and Change" ✨

Love @forfrancissake's session about trust between managers and their teams for @TheLeadDev This Venn Diagram showing that Trust = Safety + Predictability + Self-Determination is everything 😍 Required watching for people leaders everywhere! – at Manhattan, NY

Speaking on the role of Principal Engineer @ 3:40pm in the Next Steps AMA room! Come see me if you're at @TheLeadDev today. I even put on a suit jacket so you know I'm srs bsns! 🧐🤵🏻‍♀️ #LeadDevNewYork #StaffPlusNewYork – at New York, NY

If you're attending #StaffPlus New York (a conference for engineering leaders by @TheLeadDev ) this Wednesday & Thursday, I will be speaking at a panel called: "Next Steps AMA: Tackling the role of Tech Lead" Hope to see some familiar faces there! 😀 leaddev.com/staffplus-new-yo…

omg thank you for clarifying, @litmusapp! This has been such a huge pet peeve of mine 🫠 Once again for the folks in the back: Preview Text and Preheader Text are different things!

If you're in the Bay Area this weekend, I'll be singing in the #Techapella Showcase!

Since it's "Best Practice" to send out an agenda for every calendar invite you create, I created an agenda for my Thanksgiving vacation calendar hold 🙃

Put the year you turned 10 into the GIF bar and see what was popular then. (Mostly an excuse for me to rep the first Chinese-American comic book movie hero and goth icon, "The Crow" played by Brandon Lee)
