It’s probably too late in the season for any of my dinner plate varieties to pop but the size of the largest one in the field now is still pretty impressive! (Poor quality stem, though. She has to be propped up for the camera. Will be culled.) #dahlias #gardening

You win some, you lose some, I guess … Our first bloom finally opened, but two rows over a water timer malfunctioned and has been running anywhere from 3 hours to 2 days 😬 (Pulling sink pots + upcoming heat wave means they’ll probably survive tho!) #gardening
