Meet Chandler from ALIVE Southlake. 💚 You’ll find her around the studio throughout the week and on Saturday mornings, where one of her favorite parts of the job is seeing familiar faces and getting to know our members a little better with every shift. Something you might not know about Chandler? She’s a triplet! Say hi next time you see her in studio!

Missed the class you planned to take? Don't call the whole thing off. There's another one starting in 30 minutes. That's one of the reasons we built the ALIVE schedule the way we did. Your whole day shouldn't have to revolve around one class time.

However you’re spending Halloween, we hope ALIVE is part of your day. 🎃 Come take a class, see some familiar faces, and spend part of your Saturday with us. Costumes are welcome if you’re feeling festive, but definitely not required.

Yin Yoga is one of the most misunderstood styles of yoga. The practice is slower, quieter, and less focused on movement than many modern yoga classes, but that doesn't mean it's less effective. In this article, we explore what Yin Yoga is, how it differs from other styles of yoga, and why it has become an important tool for mobility, recovery, stress management, and long-term movement health. At ALIVE, Yin-inspired classes provide an opportunity to slow down, hold postures longer, and give both the body and mind a chance to reset. Read the full article on our website: buff.ly/bXliDob

The room is part of the class. Light, sound, heat and guided instruction come together so you can spend less time wondering what comes next and more time actually being present. That's the ALIVE experience.

Hot yoga weather is finally starting to make sense again. If you've been thinking about trying it, now's a pretty good time. Find your class in the ALIVE app and we'll see you in the hot room. Choose your heat. These are just a few: 🔥 Electron — 92°F 🔥 Atom — 98.6°F 🔥 Big Bang — 98.6°F 🔥 Photon — 100°F

Sometimes the practice has nothing to do with the pose. Someone may arrive late. Someone may set up where you didn't expect. The temperature may feel different than yesterday. The music may not be your favorite. The practice isn't learning how to control every variable around you. It's learning how to stay grounded when you can't. The moments that challenge our patience often teach us the most. That's why it's called a practice.
Another ALIVE OG. 💚 Amanda’s history with us goes all the way back to her first class in 2007. She became a teacher with us in 2011, and after all these years, there aren’t many class formats she can’t teach. She’s one of those teachers who knows ALIVE inside and out. Outside of ALIVE, Amanda also works with the Dallas Area Parkinson’s Society. She teaches many of her classes at ALIVE Las Colinas, but you might find her filling in at Plano, and Southlake members may have spotted her there, too. Keep an eye on the schedule and catch one of Amanda’s classes when you can! With nearly every ALIVE format in her repertoire, you never know where she’ll pop up next.

Most of us know we probably sit too much. What many people don't realize is just how much sitting affects the body. It can lead to tight hips, reduced mobility, poor posture, and achy backs and shoulders. The good news is that you don't need to spend hours in the gym to counteract the effects. In this article, we explore what prolonged sitting does to the body, why movement matters, and a few simple ways to offset the impact of a desk-bound lifestyle. Read the full article on our website: buff.ly/bXfbRmG P.S. If you're sitting now, this might be your reminder to move around for a minute.

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is slow down. Aura is our immersive Yin experience designed for the days when your body needs less intensity and more intention. Longer holds, a slower pace, and a calming environment help release tension, improve mobility, and create space to simply breathe. If life is starting to speed up again, Aura is a reminder that taking an hour for yourself isn't falling behind. It's often exactly what helps you move forward. There's no right or wrong class. Just the one your body needs today.

Meet Katie from the ALIVE Plano team. 💚 You’ll usually find her at the studio on weekend mornings. She knows ALIVE can feel like a whole new experience when you first walk in, and her advice is simple: give it a little time. One class might not be your class. She says try another. Get used to the heat, the room and the experience. Explore a few different classes and find the ones that click for you. And if you need a place to start? Katie says Electron is a great first class. Say hi next time you see her at Plano!

You shouldn't have to have a perfectly organized day to get in a workout. Come before work. Come after. Sneak one in between everything else. With classes starting every 30 minutes, ALIVE gives you options when the day doesn't go according to plan. Come when it works for you.

It’s hard to explain ALIVE until you’ve been in the room. The screens surround you with movement and imagery, while the patented heat and humidity, sound, and light pull you into the experience. Together, they create a space that brings you into the moment and keeps you there. Come experience it for yourself.

We have 27 class types with a lineup that keeps growing. Yoga, Pilates, barre, strength, mobility, meditation and plenty in between. Take what you need today and something completely different tomorrow. It's all part of ALIVE.

When most people think of Pilates, they picture the reformer. But you don't need a reformer to get a great Pilates workout. Both mat Pilates and reformer Pilates build strength, stability, and body control. They simply use different tools to get there. In this article, we compare both styles, explain the benefits of each, and help you decide which one is right for you. Read the full article on our website: buff.ly/HRatNrf

Meet one of the ALIVE OGs. 💚 Coach Sharrelle has been part of the ALIVE community since the beginning, bringing plenty of strength, energy and personality along with her. But there’s more to Sharrelle than what you see in the studio. She’s a vocalist who loves a good karaoke night, a hairdresser who can happily talk curls, texture and all hair types, and when it’s time to recharge, she’s perfectly content at home with the music turned all the way up. If you know Sharrelle, you know. If you don’t, it’s probably time to take a class with her. You can find her teaching throughout the week at ALIVE Plano.

Weekends look a little different at ALIVE. Come early, come later, try something new or stick with a favorite. We’re here from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. What class are you taking this weekend?
