Don't forget what this disgrace of a Mayor did to the London Fire Brigade in the years before the Grenfell Tower disaster lhc.org.uk/grenfell-tower-fi…

Remember that when you're standing at the ballot box in 4 weeks time.
The Environment Act had an amendment calling for a reduction in sewage spills. Tory MPs changed the wording to a reduction in the IMPACT of sewage spills. Thus water companies don't have to pump out less sewage, they can just pump it further out to sea.

If ANYONE thinks that Tories are good at managing the economy because they have posh voices.....show them the facts ⏬⏬ In 13 years of Tory gov UK Public Debt has risen by 150% to £2,570,000,000,000....this is catastrophic RT
UK public debt May 2023: £2.57 trn, 100.1% of GDP. Feb 2020: £1.791tn, 79.1% of GDP May 2010: £1.03tn, 65% of GDP Tories borrowed more than all Labour Govts combined. Squandered on tax cuts for corporations/rich, contracts for cronies. No new industries. Public services destroyed

The government clearly want all these various strikes to happen so they can force through their anti union laws. When have we ever seen so many unrelated industries on strike ? At least Richard Murphy can see the truth regarding the costs..
Steve Barclay, the Health Secretary, is saying today that if nurses get inflation matching pay rises patients will suffer. But if inflation is 10% then tax revenue should increase by 10%. So he needs to explain what he’s doing with the extra tax he’s not using to pay nurses. A 🧵

I wrote a thread yesterday, and some people have said I did not go far enough in explaining why paying public sector workers inflation-matching pay rises is the right thing to do. They’re right, so let me explain the rest of it…..

Makes a lot of sense
Rishi Sunak has claimed that to pay a 10% pay rise to all public sector employees will cost each household in the UK £1,000. This is what I call CRAp - which stands for a ‘completely rubbish approximation’ to the truth. Let me explain…a thread…

It's a simple yes or no question, Secretary of State. Did you, at the last minute, insert a Driver Only Operation clause into negotiations to scupper any chance of a deal in the #RailStrikes?

Does this mean Liz Truss is now part of the anti growth coalition ?

Ooh look Truss has come out hiding, at least Boris had the balls to stand there and tell some lies. This government will throw so many into extreme debt and poverty within months because of their unapologetic decisions.
This government really is the gift that keeps on giving….

Does anyone else start the day with the thought “ I wonder what disaster the government have in store for us today ? “

@SangitaMyska Any chance you could cover the issue of hungry/ starving kids being sent to school yet MP’s get subsidised meals and a daily allowance. Isn’t it time the priorities changed ?

The Tories are today bringing forward a law to ban solar farms on agricultural land. You see solar energy in 8 times cheaper than oil/gas & solar would hurt the profits of their energy donor pals. All rigged.

So apparently we can't stop Truss walking out to our song, very weird! So sad it got used by this shower of a government. BTW Truss labour used it with permission in 90's. I don't want my song being a soundtrack to lies.

After todays mini budget does anyone else think MP’s should undergo random drugs and alcohol testing like many other professions ?

So we have a cost of living crisis so why didn’t the monarchy tell people to donate to food banks instead of buying flowers that will just be wasted ????
