I am especially honored to have received the Lisa Klein Surdyk Teacher of the Year award during my first year in the Division of Business & Government. This recognition motivates me to keep learning, improving, and creating engaging learning experiences that help students thrive.

We are so happy for you and all the hard work! Congrats!
I’m excited and relieved to have successfully defended my PhD dissertation. It’s been a long journey of hard work, late nights, and continuous learning. I couldn’t have made it here without the support of my committee, mentors, friends, family, and department during this stint.

... a mix of slides, handwritten walkthroughs, and live polling—because no one wants 60 minutes of straight lecturing (including me).
I learned to balance structure with flexibility and theory with practical relevance.
I had an incredible experience presenting my research at NCCC-134 in Chicago! It was energizing to connect with brilliant minds from around the world, all passionate about Commodity Price Analysis, Forecasting, and Market Risk Management. I ran into familiar faces and new ones.
