Second day at the hospital, fiancée is doing well. Everyone has signed off on her going home, but now they're dragging their feet. 😩

Fiancée is going into the hospital for another spinal surgery to try to fix a herniated disc. We've been dealing with the severe pain and leg weakness for over a year, hopefully this surgery (her second one) will fix this issue for good. Its been a really bad year and we both need a win, so we can get back to living our lives. I'm hopeful the surgery will help, but damn am I nervous.

I wish her all the best. If this is true, I'm happy she was finally comfortable enough to admit it to herself and show herself to the world.

I'm not out in most facets of my life, as either bi or genderfluid, I have kept that most to myself and out of my day to day life, because I'm afraid to get hurt..... However, even though I don't share those parts of myself super publicly (like at work), that doesn't mean I don't advocate for those who are brave enough to be themselves. I work with a lot of closed minded people, who have varying degrees of "eww gay" or "eww trans" type beliefs, but when the opportunity arises, I make an effort to have those difficult discussions with them, in the hopes that I can get them to understand the very simple premise of "that's how they were born, let them be Who someone choses to sleep with or how someone determines to present themselves physically has absolutely no bearing on your life, unless you're in a relationship with that person. If that's not the case, just let them live their in peace. I may not advocate for myself, but I'm sure as fuck gonna advocate for all my LGBT brothers, sisters and everyone in between.
