This sort of meme will never not be funny to me
The black rifle coffee alpha male takes a sip from his thermos and looks out from the bunker to the battlefield, it’s hell out there. “Perfect” He thinks He adjusts the sights on his custom-built 16-inch 6mm ARC AR-15 with a Proof Research carbon-fiber barrel, JP Enterprises silent captured spring system, and a Geissele Super Dynamic Enhanced two-stage trigger. He picked it because the trigger felt smooth against his $350 carbon fiber combat gloves, and the alloy magazines were 20 grams lighter against his $2200 Kevlar vest. He mindlessly feels at his tactical pouch, he has a 10 year supply of testosterone cypionate in it, just in case the pharmacies get hit. He smirks, “Daddy needs his combat fuel.” He’s been on TRT for 7 years, his testes have cobwebs on them. He steps out of the bunker, he’s spent years training for this moment, doing weighted carries, getting “don’t tread on me” tattoos, bow hunting, having a beard. “It’s fuckin showtime.” He announces. Just then he feels something lightly tap his leg. He glances down. It’s a 17 dollar drone off temu. It has a decal on it. “Is that… hentai?” His legs are blown smooth off. 12 miles away in a disgusting room illuminated only by the degenerate glow of purple LED strip lighting, a 17 year old leans back in his cum stained gamer chair. He’s grown so frail and sickly his friends and family keep mistaking him for Asmongold. He grabs another 30mg vyvanse and washes it down with a cold chicken nugget. “GG faggot” He’s killed 500 men.

It’s the netrunner age. @GreatDismal got saw horror show too clearly with the Peripherals. You want defense? I hope you like mesh nets and open source drone software. A right to compute, no data throttles & the best sysadmin furries are your ticket out

What do we want? Wallawallas! When do we want it? When we can price them across a sensible range of time preferences!
“Fifty eight, out of date! Let our onions speculate!”

He’s been watching me write everyday for 6 straight years and today joins me in this daily practice. I’m so proud of him. Everyone should consider writing more especially as we augment our thinking & work with artificial intelligence
I'm finally joining the 'write every day' crew - it feels especially important as I produce more and more with the help of LLMs to have a practice that is just my own brain. Day 1 is about how it's not just a practice of writing but also vulnerability. blog.alexmiller.net/posts/on… Of course inspiration for this came from watching @AlmostMedia do this every day for six years has been such a good lesson in how we only get better at the things we do regularly. So here it goes

Sorry X but I’m on Twitter to reply guy & write occasional bangers. Elon Bucks were fun but I do it for the love of the game. When you made monetization dependent on X Money you lost me. You literally can’t pay me to use this feature.

I feel uninspired by the upper end of the cosmetics market. Very little is coherent & merchandised well together even in established lines. I’ll start with makeup. Artist led brands Westman Atelier, mph, VioletteFR remain uneven. Fara Homidi shirked packaging. Danissa Myricks got screwed by being mid marketed goofy. Most agree Westman is the grown up luxury pick poised to lift off but despite buying a full set of sticks I never use them. Even Merit & Milk get more rotation from me which are a full category below them. Where is well designed coherent merchandised makeup line? The luxury house full line ups are uniformly confused. Prada is mediocre product across the board. Almost embarrassing. Dolce & Gabana has some fun packaging. YSL is trying with the compact. Gucci has its moments but needs an edit. Skincare has a sinikar proglen. The one bright spot is K-beauty crushing entry level pricing with efficacy. The ethos hasn’t made it into makeup in a grown up way yet but I remain hopeful. It’s all just too cute still. I think the slump is worse in high end skincare like Barbara Strum, Augustinus Bader, Sisley, Valmont, La Praire and La Mer. It alls feel the same. Expensive. Wildly. Not science forward. Even Biologique Recherche feels played. Only Noble Panacea is working a novel form factor but its name offends me too much. A full line of simple to understand “outfits” or “faces” that let’s women buy and use without it being a thing or a isn’t a couple grand just because that looks nice on a counter and in a makeup bag would crush.

I am looking at Advent Calendar options and really beyond buying the Sephora one because I always do (it’s all mid market hits I like already and I want them in minis) it’s hard to find novel new sets and brands

We built a human readable internet but we need a mirror machine readable internet too or the economy of the open web implodes.
notice.. > Delta is blocking AI agents from booking flights > JPMorgan Chase and Charles Schwab block agents from accessing accounts > Yelp requires paid data licensing for agents > Amazon has blocked Grok bot and other shopping agents. the internet is starting to block AI agents that were supposed to do everything for us

They say the best way to go viral is to be a little wrong but this is crazy wrong. I have lived in many fine Mediterranean climates and eh. The Baltics and the Nordics on the other hand almost make me feel like I’m home in Montana
Europe’s best climate and where to find them. All great options: but South of Italy is probably the most underrated
