The young woman issued a public apology Tuesday following a viral confrontation with left-wing activist Derek Torstenson, a Russian-born man whom an eyewitness described as having a long history of deliberately provoking people.
Alpha News spoke with Sarah Barker, who attended the Oct. 14 Turning Point USA event featuring women’s sports advocate Riley Gaines at the University of Minnesota, where the confrontation occurred.
Barker said Torstenson held a megaphone near her ear while shouting insults such as "you're a transphobe," "you hate trans people," and "you should have been aborted."

‘Fork in the road’: Fraud finder David Hoch issues dire warning to Minnesotans as elections loom
David Hoch, the fraud researcher featured in Nick Shirley's viral videos about suspected fraud in Minnesota, spoke with Liz Collin on her podcast.
Hoch, who hasn't stopped investigating fraud in all its forms in Minnesota and beyond, says now is a pivotal time in America — especially with the midterm elections coming up.
He spoke about some of the latest issues he’s investigating, how his family has disowned him, and how Minnesotans and Americans are standing "at that fork in the road."
"You gotta decide ... either with me and you support what I do, or you're against me and you oppose what I do — and you support fraud and you support the destruction of our country," Hoch said.
NEW: Ilhan Omar emerges for the first time since the raid on her D.C. home, asks for donations to her campaign
UPDATE: DFL state Sen. Ron Latz says he's "deeply disturbed" by Ilhan Omar and Omar Fateh's decision to hold an event with Hasan Piker.
"And now I ask: where are the other voices? I had hoped the event's hosts, Senator Omar Fateh and Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, would heed those who have spoken and reconsider, declining to legitimize his message. So far, they have not," Latz said.
Democrats such as Amy Klobuchar and Angie Craig have spoken out against the event, while others like Peggy Flanagan and Keith Ellison have remained silent.
Jewish leaders blast Omar, Fateh for event with streamer Hasan Piker who said 'America deserved 9/11'
Minnesota Democrats are facing growing backlash over an upcoming Minneapolis event featuring Rep. Ilhan Omar, state Sen. Omar Fateh and controversial left-wing streamer Hasan Piker, whose inflammatory statements about Jews and Israel — and his declaration that "America deserved 9/11" — have drawn condemnation from Jewish organizations and some members of the Democratic Party itself.
"The silence from too many other state DFL leaders is deafening," the Jewish Community Relations Council said. "Jewish Minnesotans hear that silence, and it further erodes their trust."

“For years, Greg, in Minnesota we haven’t seen fraud whistleblowers rewarded. In fact, quite the opposite,” Collin said.
EXCLUSIVE: 'Fork in the road': Fraud finder David Hoch issues dire warning to Minnesotans as elections loom
"To someone who's committing fraud in Minnesota, if you see an old guy walk up to your door and he's got some papers in his hand and he wants to talk to you, you better have the answers. Or don't answer the door," Hoch said.
"We’re at that fork in the road, and you gotta decide which side you’re on because you can’t straddle the fence on this," he added.

A review concluded that Chanica Hall's conduct in the case was an "egregious violation of her duties as a Minneapolis Police Officer and of the trust that this Department places in each of its members."

WATCH: Lisa Demuth says Minnesota ignored early warnings about fraud in child care programs.
Demuth said she introduced legislation in 2019 that would have required proof that a child was present before a provider could be paid, but said the "Democrat majority didn’t let it move.”
“Think about what Minnesota could have stopped if they had listened,” Demuth said. “Fraud doesn’t have a race, it has victims.”
