While I'm sure Mr. Cyber-Satan has a much more sophisticated method. In line with this idea, Zéna's story with Tryce pretty much opens a gateway for V to return from any ending.
(Besides the one where they take Johnny's advice from the end of Act 1 and the dreaded Tower ending)

Deus Ex did something along those lines.
Jensen came back in Mankind Divided. The prologue was with all the augments from the previous title, but a story event occurs and he loses access to them, but finds out about new ones.
Your character progression starts anew, but with new cyberware. I suppose the next title could do the same with V. Mr Blue Eyes offers V an out, starts over from zero, but with eventual access to new tech.
Random thought but what if our resident NC boogeyman here does have the cure/new body for V and that's the goal or reward for infiltrating the Crystal palace, all the recent developments in side media so far makes me think if this could be a gateway when starting anew for Orion
