A great teammate connects with team members by personally investing in each one.
They form strong relationships allowing them to lead, demand accountability, and keep the team moving in the right direction.

I have two rules for our athletes.
1. Be On Time
2. Don't Let Your Teammates Down
Those two cover everything you're going to encounter.

One of the quickest ways to learn about a person’s character is to watch how they treat the people behind the scenes.
The grounds crew. The custodians. The scoreboard operator. The volunteers. The people dragging the field after everyone else has gone home.
In this game, nobody succeeds alone. Respect the people who make it possible for athletes to compete and families to enjoy the experience. A simple “thank you” still matters.

“I believe in you, but you gotta want this moment.”
True coaching isn't always quiet. It’s about meeting an athlete’s intensity with your own, demanding excellence because you care about their growth more than their comfort in the moment.
That’s the work.

Hard coaching means someone believes in you and your ability to improve.
Great players don’t see it as an attack. They see it as the ultimate compliment.

You could be the most skilled player on the team..
But do you make your teammates better around you?
Does the team play better when you are on the field?
Skill is great but I will an amazing teammate who is selfless to help the team win any day over skill…
