The entire Democratic Party owes a massive debt of gratitude to Zohran Mamdani.
Before his rapid rise, the party was largely rudderless, suffering from a loss of direction, momentum, and self-confidence. By drifting away from the working class, the party naturally saw voters walk away in response.
Mamdani single-handedly corrected the course, bringing vital energy, ideological clarity, and an authentic connection back to the very people who had been left behind.
Without his influence, the party’s current standing would look very different.

I've been seeing a lot of genAI integrations in Minecraft recently... Especially for building. Not to be that guy but even if you dont want to build, theres a 15+ year backlog of FREE PUBLIC builds that people have made, this is just so obsolete and counter-active to the game

PiS entered this war under the rather childish delusion that they were going to purge the judiciary, and nobody was going to purge them.

"There is a coup d'état in Poland!" and it's literally just the current government reversing many of the partisan appointments of the previous government because the judiciary is supposed to be independent from the political leadership in Poland.
I hate defending liberals but y'all need to come up with better attack lines than "they're restoring democratic norms." Come on.

The Science They Don’t Want You to Know About Transgender People
The genitals and the brain develop at different times in the womb.
The genitals form between weeks six and twelve of pregnancy. The brain develops its sex characteristics separately, in the second half of pregnancy, under a different hormonal environment.
Two separate processes. Two different timelines. When they produce different outcomes in the same person, you get a transgender person.
This is not opinion. It is published embryology. It has been in peer reviewed scientific journals since 1995, including Nature, one of the most respected scientific journals on earth.
Over 100 genetic associations with transgender identity have been documented. Brain structure differences are present before any medical treatment begins, which means they are developmental, not caused by transition. Twin studies confirm a genetic contribution. Girls exposed to higher androgens in the womb show significantly higher rates of gender nonconformity. Every major medical institution on earth, the WHO, the American Medical Association, the Royal College of Psychiatrists, recognises this as naturally occurring biological variation.
Over 40 intersex variations exist. People born with XY chromosomes and fully female anatomy. People born with both genitalia. People whose chromosomes are neither XX nor XY. The binary is not a biological fact. It is a simplification that nature routinely ignores.
The Hijra community of South Asia has been documented for over four thousand years. Two-Spirit people held recognised roles across hundreds of Indigenous nations. Gender diversity is recorded in ancient Sumer, Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, Rome and every continent on earth.
Transgender people are not new.
The science explaining why they exist is not new either.
It just does not get reported the same way as the arguments about bathrooms.
Now you know why trans people exist

An all-transmasc Ironman trio just won 3rd place in a major men's triathlon, beating over 200 other men's teams. 🏊♂️🏃🚴♂️ Trans men win men's competitions all the time, but media doesn't pays attention because it doesn't fit their narrative. I think we should celebrate trans men's victories, too! 🏆
It bears reminding that Burnham is the best Prime Minister we've had since 1979 in terms of his humanity, yet is still in effective agreement with the Labour government's inhumane policies on immigration, towards trans people and lukewarm progress on banning all arms to Israel.

Misgendering a trans person because they did/said something you disagree with is still transphobia btw.
Two MCYT controversies this week, and more crucially the apologies/responses, have highlighted how much of a problem "dark humour" jokes are in terms of the sentiments they deliberately or accidentally traffic into community spaces.
Bacon's leaves a lot left to be desired. It does read like someone who's unsure of what there is even to do, who knows that his actions are wrong. And yet, it is still a grievously weak apology, precisely because it doesn't reckon with why or explain why this is the case.
