Mohammed Alaydi, 32, lives in Gaza with his wife, Sundos, 29, and their five children, aged 11, 10, 7, 4, and 2, after their family home was destroyed in bombardment and they were displaced multiple times. The family, now staying in a small rented room after periods of living without stable shelter, lost the home where they had built their daily life and raised their children. With limited income and rising prices, Mohammed and Sundos are struggling to cover basic needs, including food, clean water, and safe sleeping conditions, while their youngest child urgently needs milk and diapers. Alongside meeting these immediate needs, Mohammed is trying to raise support to rebuild a basic home and create a more stable and secure environment for his family.

Noha Salmen is 56 years old and single, and she currently lives with her nephew, his wife, their two children, her sister, and her aunt in a rented apartment. They pay 1,000 shekels (about $300) each month, but the landlord has threatened to evict them, and they have about one week to find the money for rent. Noha never married because she spent most of her life caring for her parents, her mother was paralyzed and her father was blind, and both needed constant care until they passed away. Now Noha is the one who needs care after being diagnosed with breast cancer. She has already undergone a right breast mastectomy, but her health continues to worsen and she can barely move on many days. Her family has applied for her to travel for cancer treatment, but they are struggling to cover the costs. They have also been displaced around four times and are trying to provide Noha with the treatment, nutritious food, and stable shelter she needs while she continues to deal with her illness.
