This! The whole story and the way it portrays women's condition in joseon era is worth it. Yejin embodies a complex character with grace & precision. She carries a sadness & melancholy within her, beyond her machinations, her loneliness, the weight of her choices, are palpable.
it honestly depends on the intention of the viewer. if someone only watches for the explicit scenes, then obviously they wonโt pay attention to the plot
โbut if you actually care about the story, thereโs so much more. the storytelling literally feels like poetry and a whole theatre play, from deep joseon cultural traditions to complex character backstories. the top notch acting from the main trio carries the entire show... itโs an actual masterpiece if people stopped skipping
