Ron DeSantis trying to distance himself from the trump administration like he wasn't the one who built a concentration camp surrounded by alligators where they feed migrants maggot infested food while desantis and trump's people laugh and sold merch!

These are all towns you’ve likely never heard of. Miami, Tampa, and Naples will be just fine. It is deep-red rural Florida that is going to find out soon that they no longer can afford a library or a paid Police or Fire Department. But, hey, “freedom” from Government, right? 🙄
This is what the Amendment 3 fallout looks like.

The Democrats need to put a bunch of individual, easy to understand bills on the President’s desk and let him sign or veto them. Raise the minimum wage. End the war End the tariffs. Expand Medicare coverage Let him decide if these things will go into effect or not.

Republicans controlled Congress + Presidency and their "solution" was to cut ACA subsidies, and the guy who DEFRAUDED Medicare is lecturing us? What is YOUR solution, Rick? Nothing. Republicans have not done anything to help. Not once.
Democrats claim spending $30 TRILLION for socialist Medicare for All is the answer. Canada shows us it doesn’t work. Canadians typically wait 28 weeks to get treatment from a specialist — that’s more than HALF A YEAR. Obamacare was a disaster. Medicare for All is truly dangerous and WRONG for America.

Wondering why your healthcare got more expensive? This is why. ⬇️   It didn’t just affect people on ACA insurance. It hurt the entire system.   Democrats want to reverse this damage and give you some relief.
Republicans let the ACA tax credits expire. Democrats will restore them. The American people deserve healthcare they can afford.

The UK celebrated Guy Fawkes Night today, which, as best I can figure, celebrates a failed terrorist plot and normalizes burning Catholics in effigy ;)

Listen Up Dems. Congrats on your big wins, but today the work starts. Here's the plan. Line up 5 simple bills in Congress. One pagers, easy to understand. No pork, just a clearly worded solution. Minimum wage. Health Care assistance. Child Care. Housing. Corruption reform.

Wait, Leo McGarry was the captain??? 🤯
The 1983 movie 'War Games' opens with a chilling scene showing the crew in a U.S. missile silo receiving orders to carry out a nuclear launch.

This is the way, and Shumer is not the man to lead us.
For the next two years, Democrats should put bill after bill on Trumps desk. Force him to veto them. Bills to fix affordability, end the corruption, create jobs, end the war… all of them! Then in 2028, it will be clear to voters who stood in the way of re-building America.

ok good job now pass popular bills and dare trump to veto them. here’s a starter set (all poll at 85% or higher): - require hospitals to fully disclose costs before providing care. - require background checks for all gun sales, including private sales. - ban financial companies from selling customers’ personal data. - require an enforceable supreme court ethics code. - ban members of congress from trading individual stocks. - prohibit former members of congress from becoming lobbyists for five years. - prevent hospitals from charging more than doctors’ offices for identical outpatient services. - establish a voluntary program helping employers provide paid family and medical leave. - require publicly distributed AI deepfakes to be labeled as AI-generated. - cap prescription drug prices based on prices in other developed countries. - prohibit hospital facility fees for outpatient clinic services and telehealth visits. - require organizations spending on federal elections to disclose major donors and identify sponsors of online political ads.

One great side effect of last night is that his Texas election drubbing should keep us from seeing Greg Abbott running for president in 2028.

Well well well 👑 Euro Not saying it’s an absolute lock, but the 46-day models are starting to look very interesting for the East Coast. Don't rush out for the bread and milk just yet, but... who's ready? 🌨️👀❄️❄️ #snowtrain #MdWx #wxtwitter

Remember when Florida spent over $1B in taxpayer money to put human beings in phone booth sized cages and let them rot in the sun while republicans clapped and took photos in front of the sign? Today you can vote some of them out of office.
