I think because there are still disagreements between tendencies, we donβt really appreciate the broad consensus around electoral strategy in DSA,where the biggest Left,radical, βsectarianβ, βultrasβ tendencies support tactical use of the DP ballot line & organize SIO campaigns.
While our comrades in SMC will always be the biggest advocates of DSA running new electoral campaigns, every pole of the big tent contributes and is necessary in an organizational culture that can develop members into cadre candidates that become SIO and DSA partisans.
