On 22 October 2026, 17,759,750 people, 78.3 per cent of those counted, live within 4 km of a monitor that read Poor. This is measured directly at the stations, not modelled.

Stray Dog Attacks Woman, Bites Seven People in Rohtak
Haryana: A stray dog attacked a woman in Rohtak’s Old Housing Board Colony, knocking her to the ground and biting both her legs.
Local residents said the same dog allegedly bit six more people within around 30 minutes. The injured woman was taken to PGIMS, where she received treatment and an anti-rabies injection.
