“McGrath’s score has a pleasant musicality and uses an almost playground-esque motif to devastating effect as its melody echoes hauntingly from palace corridors to her own psyche.”

Loved 'The Queen Is Mad' by @PineconeLab at @LandUTheatre!
A moving story of power, betrayal & rage, skillfully retold through its chamber score. 'Joanna la Loca' deserves to be heard!
Don't miss it, until Sat 23 March!

A wonderful evening watching #TheQueenisMad tonight. The musical tells the story of the rightfully furious Joanna I of Castile, who is disenfranchised by a sinister King Ferdinand and a controlling Archduke Philip. The songs are wonderful, as is the script. The actors are superb. Well worth a trip over to Camden #juanalaloca #juanaofcastile @pineconeperformance @TomJamesMcGrath @AmyClareTasker – at Camden Town, London
