I was interviewed for this article. Another bill not covered by insurance came from UCI Long COVID Clinic since. “Others may not be so lucky and may be forced to pay for most of their care out of pocket. That's what happened to Amy Cook, 51, of Orange County, California.”

I take my right to vote so seriously because people DIED fighting for it. Black men gained voting rights in 1870, but Jim Crow laws, violence, and intimidation kept generations from the ballot box. It took until 1965 to pass the Voting Rights Act. Until 1920, women could be denied the right to vote simply for being women. And even then, Black women were left behind. People were beaten, jailed, terrorized, and murdered fighting for rights too many take for granted today. Sitting out an election is not an option. VOTE EARLY! Make sure your family votes. Check on your friends. Help someone get to the polls. #ElectionHeroesVoteEarly

Trump engaged in a thoughtful, extended conversation with—nothingness. He suddenly stopped, waved, saluted, offered greetings, and chatted for a bit with the empty space. 😁🤭 The cameraman deliberately zoomed out to show that there was absolutely no one to be seen for hundreds of meters in any direction. Apparently, Trump received a visit from the very same "invisible person"—the kind of encounter he had previously mocked Joe Biden for supposedly having. t.me/MirovichMedia/15645

I have been trying to think of what Trump’s hideous “ballroom” project reminds me of — and I finally have it — it is Nicolai Ceausescu’s infamous and unfinished House of the People in communist Romania, which also brought awfulness to a lovely downtown. It features a huge ballroom with niches for portraits of the dictator and his wife and a sliding roof so that a helicopter can enter and exit. The building also had a nuclear bunker. The aesthetic sense of the two men is much the same but Trump’s construction will probably be even worse.

Trump announced he will defy a judge's order & “immediately” destroy a historic space in D.C. First it was the ballroom, then the Kennedy Center, and now he's set his sights on the East Potomac golf course. This president is turning D.C. into his own tacky playground.

“The request made the CISA employees fear they were being asked to take part in political interference. “My thought was they could keep it in their back pocket to invalidate any [election] results they don’t like”
Political appointees at the Department of Homeland Security wanted CISA, an agency that protects election systems, to acquire and hack a voting machine, which shocked staffers. “This goes against everything CISA represents,” a former official said. propublica.org/article/cisa-…
