Tirico befriended Murray's parents, Sarah and the late Vada Murray, many years ago in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The broadcaster has kept tabs on Harper through her development in volleyball and helped make the connection for Harper with her agency, The Team, early in her time at Nebraska.

One of my favorite stories from @Emilykeating81 about Crofton Senior Grant Jordan.
Sometimes, sports gives us an escape from what’s happening in the real world.
Highly recommend the read ⤵️
Crofton senior Grant Jordan’s father, Shawn, passed away in March after a heart attack, leaving Grant to run his family’s farm.
Despite the responsibility suddenly thrust upon his shoulders, Grant decided to play out his senior football season.

Big thank you to Oswin for opening up about his journey and the recent passing of his grandmother.
Creighton fans will love his story.
At 16, Oswin Erhunmwunse left his family in Nigeria to pursue basketball in the U.S., knowing only how to dunk and pass, with zero knowledge of the rules.
Now he's the starting center for @BluejayMBB. Erhunmwunse spoke with @AnaBellMedia ahead of the season.
