I did the thing. Chapter 3 is up
This fic is *actually* sacreligous, at least from the Christian pov, so, if that's going to offend you, give this one a pass
But if you want some devil/Paganini historical-ish rpf, this one is for you

AO3 IS RUN BY VOLUNTEERS
they do not get paid for any of this. be kind, patient, and respectful to the volunteers who work hard to keep ao3 running, fight against censorship, and protect writers, fanfics, and peopleโs rights/freedom to write whatever they want, however they want

We estimate that service restoration for #AO3 will take around 2 weeks but it could be up to 4 weeks. We are hopeful that we will be able to bring the site back up in a degraded state sooner. Refer to our status page for updates: otwstatus.org/
#AO3 maintenance is in progress. We expect it to take at least 12 hours, but it may take longer. We will provide updates as necessary. Refer to our status page for updates: otwstatus.org/incidents/g12jโฆ
I have my quarterly performance review tomorrow. It is not going to go well. See you on the flip side
The Rule of 3 is a powerful parallel structure that appears in a ton of writing, not just fanfic, because things in threes scratch itches in our brains. Not using it because AI does is throwing three babies out with the bath water

Readers added context they thought people might want to know

For Halloween, I think you should get a cape. Not a cheap plastic one from Spirit Halloween, but a bespoke handmade one from Casa Seseรฑa. When you put it on, shift your shoulders back and forth and then sweep the front edge across your shoulders, swatting anyone in close vicinity

(Yes, it's good for students, particularly for those from families without much money, to have access to cheap instruments. And yet...)

If I could give some unsolicited advice to ao3 fic writers it would be to: 1. Have a nice day and 2. Keep doing what you love
"Affect" can also be used as a verb which is related to the nouns meeting: she affected interest in her friend's story
This meaning can also be used as an adjective meaning feigned: his posh accent was affected
You can also make it a noun: his posh accent was an affectation
