I also took home Weathercaster of the Year at the Radio Television Digital News Association Awards in Charlotte today. I’m beyond thankful. There are many others who deserve the recognition for their hard work. Just blessed that someone thinks I deserve this one. 😭

A Coastal Flood Advisory continues until 10 AM, with high tide around 8 AM this morning.
Minor coastal flooding is possible along vulnerable causeways, low-lying roads, the Intracoastal Waterway and nearby tidal creeks. Some roads could become impassable, so use caution if you're heading out this morning.
⚠️ A HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK is also in effect through Monday evening. Rip currents can pull even experienced swimmers away from shore. Stay out of the water and follow beach safety guidance.
