My shitxoin #multiversX innovating where this stuff belongs, with cheap fast transactions on a nimble little blockchain. Bitcoin is pure and simple, no space for monkey pics or ads embedded in the most important financial blockchain forever. #XBT, #Blake2b algo Bitcoin chain
A few notes, only for some crypto people. If you’re not in crypto, please keep scrolling. Nothing to see here. 1. Is Supernova live and delivered? YES. After years of work, it’s live. It works. It’s delivered. 2. Does this change your life? Yes and no. Yes, if you’re building something cool and know how to find users. No, if you're not looking to building anything. 3. Does the Finance Computer use MultiversX? YES. Does it use EGLD? Yes. 4. Is the Finance Computer a product for crypto people? Another thing for crypto people to generously bless with their omniscient wisdom? No. It’s not built for crypto people. Their omniscient wisdom, fortunately, doesn’t apply here. :) 5. Will the Finance Computer spend every day talking about crypto? No. Plain and simple. This is a distinct B2B distribution product. It targets businesses, not crypto users. It speaks their language, solves their problems, and focuses on delivering a service they actually want to use. Less explaining crypto. More of making money actually work better. 6. Now that Supernova is live, will there be new use cases? YES. That’s precisely the point. The Finance Computer is a new interface for bringing these capabilities into the real world. Different audience. Different language. Different distribution. Same underlying rails. 7. Will there be announcements and partnerships? YES. 8. When when when, sirs? Can we have everything today? No. Not everything today. During next week and September, we’ll start sharing the first business use cases. Something merchants and companies can use in a simple way. Beyond that, we’ll have some focused workshops around what the Finance Computer can actually unlock for businesses. Simple language. Clear benefits. Clear next steps. Use cases businesses can use today. 9. Do we have strategic use cases that validate the Finance Computer and meaningfully accelerate momentum? YES. Some very interesting ones. That is the entire point of the finance computer. Let those be cooked. We announce them when they are shipped, or just ready. 10. So when do we get all the information? At the right time. What I can say is this: this quarter will be defining for both the Finance Computer and MultiversX from a business adoption and real-world use case standpoint. We have shipped a massive infrastructure upgrade, with a completely new interface, that speaks a different language for the business world.  Taking that further is the focus now. Crawl, walk, run. 11. Isn't it unprofessional or impolite to block trolls who fill my posts and timeline with NPC rubbish? No. We worked for two years on Supernova. Actually, much longer. We set out to deliver an extremely difficult technical milestone, and we delivered it. Together with the entire team, I am very proud of that milestone. We now stand at the very frontier of performance, on the right ground, with a clear suite of money services ready for the business world. So yes, trolls will disappear from my timeline. Better for everyone that way. In computer science, we have a technical term for this. It’s called garbage collection. Works surprisingly well, highly recommended. :) 12. Are we here to solve all the world's problems? No. We’re here to build a great product and deliver it. Take what is useful. Build on it. Adapt it. Move forward. That’s it. 13. But but but, isn’t this supposed to be for everyone? No. Not everything needs to be for everyone. What we are building stands for something specific. A better way of accessing, moving and programming money. If it resonates with you, and you need it, great. Come build, use it, contribute, push it forward. If it doesn’t, also great. Life is short. Find something else that does. 14. One final thing. Crypto, generally, has gotten so toxic that it feels more and more like an autoimmune disease, the body eating itself from the inside. We are in the process of treating that toxicity. Changing the focus, applying more effort on money used in the real world, communicating to the right distribution target, and spending less time on things that are clearly misaligned. Simple steps can go a long way. That’s the direction. /end of professional rant :) —------ Ps. That said, for the rest of the cool people here, the Finance Computer makes things simple for real world money movement adoption. It abstracts rocket science technology, and makes things just work. Next week we are sharing some simple use cases that enable businesses to take this product and use it. It also enables you as an individual to find businesses you are close to, or love, deliver this to them, and potentially make some money as they adopt it. Anyway. With these milestones delivered, and the new Finance Computer unveiled, we have officially entered the adoption phase.

IMPORTANT PSA FOR ALL BITCOINERS So in spite of most influencers not saying a word about this, bitcoin just forked into two different coins. I will call them core Bitcoin and blake Bitcoin here. If you had a core Bitcoin in the past, you now also have a Blake Bitcoin also. And since the fork was not planned months ahead, there is no built in replay protection. Which means when you spend your Bitcoin on one network, there is a real danger of that coin also being sent on the other network. To protect both of your coin, you need to do your own replay protection. This is best done by sending your bitcoin to yourself in a newly created wallet with a new seed, or to your exchange on the legacy chain along with an op_return output of 90 bytes or more. This transaction will be ignored on the Blake Bitcoin chain as op_returns of more than 83 bytes are invalid on that chain. Use your favorite AI to guide you on how to best do this. Please share, quote, are retweet so every Bitcoiner knows about this. And ask yourself why your favorite influencer is not saying a word about this. Cheers

Scale isn’t an illusion. It’s an emergent constraint. The laws change with scale because information, energy, and causality reorganize. That’s why atoms don’t orbit like planets and galaxies don’t behave like molecules.

BLAKE2b is quite a bit better for decentralization than SHA256d... For starters, we now have the precedent that centralization will result in a PoW change, creating a strong disincentive to do so. BLAKE2b also doesn't have any known vulnerabilities (like SHA256d's ASICBoost) and is very simple for new ASIC manufacturers to enter the market. There are already 6 or 7. Since we had to reorganize the header anyway, we also fixed several long-standing issues with it. One of those issues fixed is block withholding attacks. The only way previously to defend against them was incentives and KYC. With the new format, it is possible to defend completely at a technical level. It also increases the nonce space significantly, avoiding the need for mining hardware to handle Bitcoin internals - often incorrectly, a problem that interferes with generating payouts to miners directly.

The point of Bitcoin: 1. Fixed supply 2. Can be owned without third party permission 3. Can be moved without third party permission That's it. If it's centralized, neither of those things apply. @saylor's "reformation" and "shedding of iatrogenic orthodoxy" is simply "Bitcoiners need to stop caring about decentralization". That makes his vision baseless. Bitcoin without the accompanying principles has no meaning or purpose.

We’re putting the BLAKE2b hard fork through a live Testnet4 shakedown this weekend: testing the SHA256d→BLAKE2b handoff, miner interoperability, difficulty behavior, and RDTS activation/expiry. Height 149,428; fork at 149,460, ~6h24m away (~03:54 UTC).

Replying to @EngAslamRana
The colour of any group is incidental to their fact of their existence. Making it incidental to the fact of their right to a self representative democracy, and their right to their sovereign self governance. This is why many groups in Canada have ethnic congresses. Ethnic Canadians who are born from the people who settled and founded Canada, are the only identifiable ethnic group in Canada without ethnic political representation. If we are to interpret ethnic political representation as being supremacist than we should disband all extraneous ethnic congresses or other such groups in Canada, or accept the fact that ethnic Canadians are a real people, and a political demographic which has a self identity and a right to the freedom of conscience at the heart of democratic governance, which does not require permission from the government to exist or be exercised. That at the very least having a party which speaks to our issues from the position of our ethnic cultural interests is an absolute and unquestionable right no less than the Quebecois has the Block Quebecois.

These views do not reflect the views of @ocean_mining and are mine exclusively: Saturday 8/8 saw the rejection of BIP110 by the Bitcoin industry despite broad support among the community. This shattered a long-standing belief that Bitcoin's anti-fragility and hard-monetary properties would continue thanks to its decentralized network of nodes who were run by people who understood Bitcoin and would fight to preserve it. I have been confident in Bitcoin's future and championed it as a tool for freedom. My reasons for doing so both required that it maintain and treat as a mission-critical priority the decentralization and ultimate authority of the network of nodes determining and enforcing its rules. They are no longer relevant. The degree to which this undermines Bitcoin's future cannot be overstated. Proof of Work is completely pointless if the criteria for what constitutes validity is decided by the ones doing the work. Pools have said "Our blocks are still valid, even if they violate rules we were told to respect." They did so within a small cartel of centralized pool operators clearly acting on behalf of industry players who operated behind closed doors ensuring that their public, breathtakingly arrogant, and nonsensically premature dismissal of BIP110 as a failure would not ultimately turn out any other way. They were not bluffing, they knew. By contrast, BIP110 supporters operated in public. We used neutral metrics that everyone had access to, and made the basis of our confidence publicly known. Sincere attempts were made to gauge community sentiment and engagement was public on all venues where discussion was permitted. Public engagement with influential Bitcoiners who opposed BIP110 demonstrated clearly that their opposition was not in good faith. This led to questions about their characters and intentions which were promptly corroborated by timely Epstein leaks. This meant that it was no longer frivolous dismissal of "the other side" out of pure tribal instinct as is standard within any conflict, and instead it would become laughably naive to continue assuming good faith on their part. Regardless, the spectacular, resolute dismissal of BIP110 necessarily reveals an equivalent stark and chilling reality with regard to decision-making about Bitcoin's consensus rules. No one, not even BIP110's most staunch critics can dismiss the implications of this. When Bitcoin is under attack, spontaneous defense that can withstand whatever onslaught it faces will simply be dismissed as "not economic", "a Sybil attack", "non technical", "censorship" or some other attempt to discredit and undermine it by the attackers. My expectation for the future is that for Bitcoin, reverse-Trojan horse theory continues to play out: The dollarization of the ecosystem will continue, and Bitcoin's ultimate goal - the separation of money and state, will be forgotten, while its captured players work towards the exact opposite end - its unification. Bitcoin is not the first protocol to become captured. It needed to become the exception, not the rule. The mechanism by which it did that is decentralization. Work is being done to hard fork Bitcoin with a new Proof-of-Work algorithm. I have said repeatedly in the past that in certain scenarios, should mining become captured and centralized to too great of a degree then the only defense the network would have would be to hard-fork to a new Proof-of-Work algorithm. I stand by this perspective as a truth fundamental to Bitcoin and everyone must agree with this stance if they are to believe Bitcoin is not whatever a necessarily few mining pools say it is. If you believe the miners acted on behalf of a silent community who secretly opposed BIP110 then I will respectfully disagree but agree that your conclusion about a PoW change being unwarranted must follow. You have misjudged the BIP itself and are simultaneously oblivious to the mechanisms that were abused to deny it, along with the intentions of the people working them. You also did not indicate your dislike of the BIP via discernable metrics (i.e not running a URSF and committing to its rejection) - instead you relied on a few pools to decide on your behalf. So what am I going to do? Wait with a stalled out Knots node. Another block will be along later rather than sooner, but I'll take it. That is what my entire Bitcoin stack sees as the state of the network. If a PoW change HF comes along with the next update to @BitcoinKnots that makes blocks start showing up faster I will upgrade to it and enjoy the benefit. I have no desire to attempt to call this new chain "Bitcoin" - Bitcoin is a case study in protocol capture and instead of dying, becomes a tool for the sickest of purposes. I can think of nothing more evil than centralized Bitcoin. It is whatever tinfoil-hat conspiracy theorist told you Bitcoin was. But for all my day-to-day activities, all the software I use, Bitcoin is simply stuck at block 931,633. At current hashrate the next block will take ~32 hours. I sincerely doubt that anyone wants to find another 2000 blocks at this pace so HF is the only practical option.

All parties march to the drums of the globalist sustainable development regime.
What is happening to Canada is post national neo-colonization. We're 11 years into "decolonization". Since you can't "decolonize" a nation Canada was rendered post national in 2015 under the Conservative government, and UN Agenda 2030 was agreed to. This took place only 5 years after Harper first told us that there is no such thing as a Canadian economy anymore and that we had lost our national sovereignty at the Toronto G20 event in 2010. Despite these facts the story of these influencers never changes. They would still have you believe that this all came after the election in 2015 from the liberal party. They never talk about the post national regime, they never acknowledge the Conservative party role and colusion in the agenda. Carney was governor of the Bank of Canada under Harper. Then went to the UK to be the governor of the Bank of England under their Conservative gov. He was installed as Liberal leader, but he is 100% SDR Sustainable Development Regime. These one eyed influencers expect you to ignore the fact that it was a conservative government that agreed to UN Agenda 2030 here and in the UK. It holds true that it was Conservative governments that agreed to the Harare Declaration binding all Commonwealth nations to "Sustainable Development" in 1991, and which agreed to UN Agenda 21 (the root of the carbon tax agenda). It's good that he phrases the statement as a question, but the answer is no, it's because of the Sustainable Development Regime. They're in every party. Our gov, is not our gov. It is an illegitimate foreign occupation regime.
