if a government agency ever tears me away from my family over a paperwork issue, my friends really don’t need to qualify every public statement about it with “i definitely continue to support this great, good agency and i know tyler does too.” you can just try to help me.

Tony Gwynn got the Hall of Fame call at his home in Poway, California on January 9, 2007.
Gwynn was elected with 97.6 percent of the vote alongside Cal Ripken Jr., and Padres video captured the emotional family reaction. That's what makes the footage better than a press conference.
Cooperstown became official in the same house where his family could experience the news with him.
I did not know @esaagar was going to do this, but he started today’s show saying that if 100 people sign up for the free month at BP he’ll fill in for me so I can hit the Richmond Phish show tomorrow.
He also said he’d buy the tickets (and doesn’t know what they cost). So help send me to Richmond: youtu.be/YoW-jfwksvc?t=278

Incredible logical fallacy going on here. Howerton using manipulation to promote his political beliefs is something that should get him sent to his elders. Trying to convey that someone not voting, or voting for Talarico, is logically the same as allowing a bad surgeon to kill their son via malpractice is irresponsible.
One of the candidates is a morally bankrupt politician who sent a pedophile to jail for one day, was impeached for ethical issues, and divorced because of adultery. The other is a Christian who has a different ecclesiology than Josh. Yet, only one of these candidates does Josh call a "serpent" and comes from the "synagogue of Satan."
Pastors can have political opinions, and they're free to voice them. But using your church, your pulpit, and your pastoral influence to manipulate people into voting for who he wants, that should lead him to discipline. Even Robert Jeffress, Trump's favorite pastor, has told people to vote their conscience. Howerton is telling people that voting for Talarico or not voting at all is likened to having your child killed.

You have 2 choices for who will perform an operation on your grandson:
1) One of them will implant (rather than removing) cancer into your grandson, cut the wrong artery, and if this trajectory is continued, your grandson will slowly die bc of this surgeon’s actions
2) The second one is generally a good surgeon with a generally strong track record of succesful surgeries and is irrefutably aggressively in attacking cancer… but he had an affair before.
^You respond, “Well, both are bad!” and leave the decision to others.

All of these #christian death penalty hawks need to read some Jüngel. Although I’m also certain that 99.9% of them have never even heard of him which is an entirely different problem. jasongoroncy.com/2008/05/13/…

Ray Kerr was working at a 7-Eleven and a movie theater, thinking his baseball career was over.
Then he got signed for $2,000 and spent seven seasons in the minors.
He just dominated the Phillies over 3.1 scoreless in his first MLB postseason game.
So much of the theology, if you can even call it that, on X is both terrible and terribly obnoxious. None of these people have ever seemingly read a historic, modern, or contemporary theological text written by people who literally spent their lives studying and learning theology
