Does anybody else think the crowd claiming its wrong to attack people's the livelihoods. Even if they're are a terrible person. Turn around and celebrate people getting fired because they made a game they didnt like. Effectively doing the same thing for petty reasons.

When a black person calls characters like Yoruichi or Muramasa black chuds are all like "They're not black they're dark skinned japanese peopl!!!". But suddenly they are black when it's time to make dumb comparisons like this.
Dumb continues to push the notion the notion. That these Overwatch collab down the character in the game. When that isnt how those project are ever handle. Its always been effectively the cast cosplay different people from a franchise.
There is a certain criteria you have to meet when collaborating with another studio for fans to accept it.
Did you see any outrage when Dead or Alive, King Of Fighters or even recently Street Fighter? Ofc not because even though the art direction was different, that was to be expected but they almost perfectly recreated Mai in every way imaginable. They kept her core aspects. They didn’t change her physique or facial structure.
At best censorship. Everyone will expect a 1-1 creation of a beloved IP and character. Overwatch should be critiqued every day.

Considering the game made $400 million in a year I’d venture to guess that it’s not the reason why they’re facing layoffs.
We’ve seen time and time again that companies can do well and still fire people. Rockstar just fired people and EA just nuked BioWare, even Xbox is doing it
