My app's paywall was looking a little too light on the animations. So added this carousel to show off all of the animations, plus some icon animations for the features list #buildinpublic #androiddev #jetpackcompose

I really liked this idea and wanted to join in on the fun and see how it felt as a library. Introducing Sea Glass for Compose. 🌊 Frosted color, softly tumbled edges, and a little light beneath each piece.
I think Google could find success in making sea glass the next UI material for Material Design 4

I'm already sizing my Compose ports for the Fold8 unfolded, so I'm hoping window size classes get me most of the way to a Googlebook. Keyboard and trackpad is the part I haven't touched yet.

That's great! Using Window Size Classes is definitely the best start for an adaptive UI, but a true desktop experience is more than just UI: think how you can empower your users to do more by following the desktop app quality guidelines: goo.gle/3U1KEAg

drywall code needs an expiry date. otherwise someone connects billing to it and suddenly it's load-bearing 😭

Android shipped an official Jetpack Compose performance skill: install it and your agent statically analyses your Compose code. Skills from the platform team are how agents in @Cursor_AI stop guessing about recomposition. #AndroidDev #JetpackCompose xitter.cf/riggaroo/status/211040…
We've just released a new official Android skill that can be used to statically analyse your #JetpackCompose code for performance improvements. ⚡️ Install it, and ask your agent to run the skill on your code. 🧑‍💻 We've seen some good results running it internally - give it a try and let us know any feedback! github.com/android/skills/tr…

So what’s Android Device Hub? A hidden tool in Android CLI. It’s essentially a screen mirroring app built with Electron. Too early to say if it’ll become a full standalone app. Features are missing.... but it looks promising! You can pin it to your dock, and it has a cute app icon :) (1/2)
