THE CEASEFIRE HAS COMMENCED
The ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia took effect at 4:00am Moscow time on October 27, 2026.
Timing was accelerated two days ahead of schedule to protect the safety of civilians and to facilitate the delivery of critical humanitarian aid. The ceasefire’s geographic area has expanded beyond Oleshky, within the Kherson Region, to provide safe passage for the humanitarian convoys.
General Valery Gerasimov, Joint Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces has confirmed.

Bitcoin is testing the area we said buyers needed to defend: $82.5K.
Overnight, it traded below it and came back above.
Now I want to see whether buyers can stay above it when sellers try again.
A bounce gets more interesting when the next selloff fails.
Hold here and reclaim the monthly open near $83.6K, and the recovery starts looking healthier.
Spend time below $82.5K, with rallies failing to reclaim it, and the picture weakens.
Support isn’t proven by the line we draw.
It’s proven by what buyers do when price gets there.

Libi Cohen-Meguri, a 22-year-old infantry officer, went to the Nova music festival.
She was shot while fleeing the party. At 8:11 a.m., she called her parents and said:
“I’ve been shot in the stomach, I’ve been shot in the arm, I’m losing blood. I’m going to die.”
Calmly, quietly, she understood; these were the last minutes of her life.
She asked her parents to call Tomer, her twin brother, and Maya, her little sister, and said:
“I’m going to die. I just want you to listen to me.
I love you, Yariv. You’re the best father I could have asked for.
Mom, stop screaming. Just listen to me. You are the best mother we could have ever had. Don’t forget to be a good mother to Tomer and Maya after I die.
Tomer, how lucky we were to live this life together. I love you.
My Maya, never forget—you are the treasure of my life.”
When she finished speaking, her parents told her to get out of the car, lie down on the road, and pretend to be dead.
With her last bit of strength, she got out of the car and laid down on the road.

I bought 0.5 Bitcoin at $20,000.
It went to $30K, then fell back to $22K. I sold.
Bought again around $35K. Sold at $50K.
Then it went to $70K, and I just hold.
That’s when I understood:
Buying Bitcoin wasn’t the hard part. Holding it was.
Every time I sold, I had cash.
But I also had to find another entry and start the entire journey again.

Bitcoin continues its phenomenal run and rallies right into the 50-week EMA (purple)
Again, both of these need to be turned into new supports to confirm a durable shift in the tide
These EMAs act as supports in Bull Markets and resistances in Bear Markets
At the moment, the 50-week EMA (purple) is acting as resistance whereas the 21-week EMA (green) has not been technically reclaimed and confirmed as new support

One of the things to consider on this recent Bitcoin ascent:
Can it reclaim the 21-week EMA (green) as support?
In Bull Markets, naturally this EMA figures as a support
However, in Bear Markets this EMA tends to act as resistance or even a failed retesting region if price overextends too much to the upside
For Bitcoin to maintain its bullish strength, price would need to Weekly Close above the 21-week EMA and successfully retest it as support
Because otherwise, if BTC fails the EMA retest and turns this 21-week EMA back into a new resistance, it will replicate the early 2026 Relief Rally and revert to continuing its Downtrend
Generally, Bitcoin needs to confirm a breakout beyond its Macro Downtrend to confirm a new Macro Uptrend for Bitcoin
At the moment, price is still forming Macro Lower Highs
And in fact, Bitcoin would need to reclaim as support both the 21-week EMA (green) and the 50-week EMA (purple) to finally invalidate the Macro Lower Highs which history suggests could be too tall of an order to do at this moment in the cycle
