Remember when Doctor Strange said there was only ONE timeline out of 14 million where the Avengers defeated Thanos?
What if the reason wasn't that Thanos was impossible to defeat, but that he actually HAD to win?
Think about it. If Thor had gone for the head, Thanos would have died. But without the Snap, there would be no Blip to reverse.
And that's important because, in Eternals, Ajak only changes her mind about humanity after witnessing the Avengers bring everyone back.
Without that event, she might never turn against the Celestial Emergence, meaning Tiamut eventually destroys Earth.
So Strange may have seen millions of timelines where the Avengers defeated Thanos, only for Earth to be destroyed years later.
The only winning timeline was the one where Thanos won first.

Why can’t Dr. Strange just slice all of his enemies in half by creating a portal and then closing it with them inside?

Has anyone else noticed that Howard the Duck seems to get a slightly different look every time he shows up in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies?
His appearance keeps changing between films, almost like Marvel can't settle on one final design for him.

If you were to go on a hypothetical road trip (or space trip) with one group of heroes, which would you choose and why?

I’m genuinely curious as to why they chose Groot to sacrifice an arm to create stormbreaker rather than use the original handle.
Was it just to connect the characters or was it to honor the comics or something else?

How did the Harkonnens get away with wiping out House Atreides on Arrakis without facing consequences from the Emperor?
The Atreides took over the planet under imperial orders. Was their feud enough to disguise the Emperor’s involvement?

I prefer Denis Villeneuve’s Chani. She’s more than Paul’s love interest. She’s Fremen first, rejects the prophecy, and sees how Paul exploits her people’s beliefs for power.
That’s why his decision to marry Irulan feels like a betrayal of everything she stands for.

Yes, Valkyrie is older than Thor and Loki. Hela was banished before they were born, and Valkyrie was part of the army that fought her.
Odin later erased Hela from Asgard’s history, which explains why Thor and Loki had no idea who she was.
The Valkyries survived as legends, though, which is why Thor knew about them growing up. Her exact age is never established, but she’s definitely older than Thor.

The interesting thing about He Who Remains in Loki is that his intentions in the season 1 finale seem to contradict what we learn in season 2.
In season 1, he tells Loki and Sylvie that he deliberately paved the way for them to reach him, giving them the choice to kill him or take over the TVA. He even claims he's exhausted after living countless lifetimes and seems genuinely willing to hand over the throne.
But in season 2, he makes it clear that he never intended to let them kill him, explaining that he had already set things in motion to ensure Loki would learn time slipping.
So what was his actual plan?
Was he genuinely ready to retire and pass on control of the TVA, provided they chose to replace him? Or was the whole thing another elaborate manipulation, with his death simply being a contingency he had already prepared for? And if Loki and Sylvie had agreed to take his place, would he really have walked away?

There’s an uncomfortable truth here: Feyd-Rautha wasn’t entirely wrong about Paul.
Paul knew the Fremen’s prophecy was being used to manipulate them, yet he chose to embrace it because it served his own survival and ambitions, and the result was a holy war that killed billions.
Although that doesn’t make Feyd a hero, but it does make the question of who the real villain is a lot more complicated.

I have a question about Thor.
In Thor: Ragnarok, Odin literally tells him that Mjolnir was never the source of his power. It only helped him control and focus it. He even demonstrates that he can summon lightning without the hammer.
So why does Thor still rely so heavily on Stormbreaker and his battle armour in Infinity War and Endgame?
If he’s the God of Thunder and can channel lightning through his bare hands, shouldn’t he be able to fight just as effectively without either weapon?

A lot of people in the comments are asking why Vision’s ears weren’t painted blue/red like the rest of his body. The simple explanation is that it would have been easier to replace them with CGI if they were a different colour from his skin, making them easier to mask out during post-production.
Besides, Vision doesn’t actually have human ears, so they would have had to be digitally created anyway. There was really no point in painting them.
