The GOP couldn't have found a more awful candidate if they tried.

The "beacons of Gondor" system is an exact replica of a Roman (Byzantine) system called "Πυρσεία" (pyrseia). We lighted fires across Anatolia to warn Constantinople when an invasion came.
Btw in the Greek army today, the army intranet mail has that name, pyrseia.
No they didn't, they begged NATO to fight Serbs for them. Albanians are incapable of winning a war on their own, the War in 🇲🇰 in 2001 proved it.
I gotta start joining spaces on my alt-account.
Anytime I join a space my followers join and shift the subject to some recent geopolitical topic I discussed.
When Montenegro reunites with Serbia, all these traitors should have their citizenship revoked
My first meeting in Sveti Stefan, Montenegro, on the margins of the Berlin Process Summit, was with Commissioner @MartaKosEU.
With fully functional institutions, Kosova will accelerate its reforms. Last week we adopted the final law needed to join SEPA, which will save our citizens, businesses and diaspora some €58 million a year, and negotiations will soon begin for us to join the EU's Roam Like at Home zone, with no extra charges.
Our democratic progress, commitment to shared values and alignment with the EU's Common Foreign and Security Policy must be reflected in concrete steps. We count on the Commission's continued and visible support for candidate status and the opening of accession negotiations.
In the Berlin Process, Kosova has ratified every agreement, while Serbia is blocking the one on the recognition of diplomas. On freedom of movement, Kosova acted first: since 1 January 2025, citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina can enter Kosova with their ID cards, but this has not yet been reciprocated.
Putin shouldn't have pulled Russian troops out of Kosovo in 2003 and this wouldn't have happened.
Putin, February 2008, annual Kremlin press conference, three days before Kosovo declared independence from Serbia:
Supporting Kosovo's unilateral declaration "is amoral and against the law."
Then the double standard, laid out >
> Northern Cyprus has been de facto independent "for 40 years now. Why don't you recognise it ?"
> "Are you Europeans not ashamed to apply double standards in settling one and the same issue in different parts of the world ?"
> "We are always being told that Kosovo is a special case. This is all lies."
> Spain, Northern Ireland: "Why should we encourage separatism ?"
"There have to be common standards."
Eighteen years later Serbia still does not recognise Kosovo. Neither do five EU members.
The "special case" became the template. Everyone learned the lesson Washington taught in Belgrade.
Be informed.
Not entertained.
They should not
🇬🇧🇺🇸🇽🇰| At yesterday’s UN Security Council meeting, the United Kingdom once again called on Serbia to extradite the Serbian terrorist leader Radoicic—who is living freely in Belgrade—to Kosova.
As is customary, the UK and the U.S. demanded that the UNMIK mission in the Republic of Kosova be brought to an end, arguing that since Kosova possesses its own functional government, a UN 🇺🇳 presence is no longer necessary.

Any "conservative influencer" who has become or remained prominent in the previous few decades received on-the-job training in a very specialized skill... how to personally thrive while losing.
It's not that the Scott Greers of the world necessarily want to lose. But losing is that they know how to do, as well as how to make money doing it.
So, when a bunch of chuds — who are not professional "influencers", but just regular right-wing dudes — come up something that's conservative, idealist, hopeful, pro-civilization, pro-family, and, above all, fun, then his first thought isn't:
"How can I interact with this to help the right win?"
It's:
"How can I interact with this to enhance my brand?"
And countersignalling for clicks then seems as good a strategy as any.
Well, so, great. Now we all know that Scott Greer is a Very Serious Person who is too dignified for fan fiction, or indeed for any fiction at all that isn't written by a depressed 19th century Russian alcoholic.
How does that help the right win?
It doesn't, of course. It helps the right lose.
I could point out that Scott Greer has forgotten Saul Alinsky's 6th rule, "A good tactic is one your people enjoy", but the problem goes deeper than that.
The neocons, ConInc, the GOP establishment, and most especially the vast majority of American Christian churches, have forgotten what life is even for.
Throughout my entire life, I have watched the right lose because its primary voices were anti-sex, anti-pleasure, anti-joy, anti-happiness, and anti-fun.
They very carefully tended the moral fences surrounding human impulses like libido, but then took zero responsibility for making sure there was green grass inside the fence line.
You, as a human being, are not designed to self-destruct.
You are not designed to like things that are bad for you.
The only reason that so many of us are addicted to things that are bad for us is that the healthy, natural outlet for that urge got taken away. No one has ever been lured away from wagyu steak by potato chips fried in seed oil. No teenage male would prefer internet porn to a pretty girl who loves him passionately and wants to get married and have a family.
A man with nothing for you but rules and principles isn't a leader. He's a bureaucrat.
Leaders have a vision.
A vision is something for you to look forward to. Something for you to be excited about. Something that makes you happy, or at least hopeful that you will be.
Every vision is a fantasy, whether it's a fantasy of building a safe, peaceful, orderly society full of nice things, or a fantasy of colonizing the solar system and eventually the stars, or just a fantasy of being loved.
That's what moves people.
Because what good is a revolution without dancing?

Apparently Scott Greer - and numerous other conservative "influencers," "podcasters" and other assorted fauna - need this explained to them: fanfiction is the garden in which potential writers first cultivate their talents.
Fiction writing is an incredibly difficult art to master; which is why the average age of debut novelists is 35, and the average age of an author releasing their first best-seller is around 50. It requires intellect, life experience, well-honed technical mastery, and the ability to hold an entire world in one's head, complete with a full cast of imaginary friends that have lengthy conversations with one another. Jumping feet-first into the deep end is effectively impossible; which is why the vast majority of writers start with fan-fiction - even many "original" works are just filing the serial numbers off something else and leaning heavily on genre conventions. It allows the nascent writer to develop their skills in an otherwise stable framework; affords them an opportunity to crawl before they walk.
The "Malfoid" phenomena stands out because Harry Potter is the first long piece of fiction (seven books!) that an entire generation read in young adulthood, and perhaps the last work of fiction that achieved nigh-universal readership among an entire generational cohort. For that same cohort, having a story written (or re-written) *for them* is like tasting chocolate for the first time in thirty years, given the publishing industry has been, like so many other institutions, completely captured by the DEI left and has relentlessly purged white male authors from its ranks; leaving what few remain struggling to rise above the churning ocean of half-assed trash that chokes Amazon self-pub.
That you and so many other "conservative influencers" knee-jerk response is to sneer at this development reveals a thunderous and damning ignorance on your part of something the left understands innately - the power of narratives. As @Devon_Eriksen_ has explained before, narratives are fundamental to how we mentally model the world. Motives and desires, emotions and reactions, even basic physical cause-and-effect requires a narrative; even if it's as simple as "if I push on this door hard enough, I can open it, and get at the grain that's in the tack room." My goats have figured out that much; which is why they break into the tack room daily even if they can't see the grain, or even the bag that usually has grain in it through the wire mesh.
Because of this, narratives are incredibly powerful influences on our thinking - and this is precisely why the left wing is utterly obsessed with controlling every narrative they can get their hands on. It's why they go well out of their way to hunt down anyone in the arts with even the slightest conservative thought and drive them out by any means necessary. Its why they take pains to fill elementary school libraries with sordid books explaining masturbation techniques - they understand that narratives are how children learn almost everything they know of the world; and why so much of their attempts at "serious" art are about as sophisticated as aesop's fables for left-wing values: they absolutely view it as a tool for controlling minds. If you doubt the deliberate intent behold the majority of what they produce, look no further than the coercion California's state government applied to video game giant Blizzard and the results thereof - video games are the one major media form leftists don't have a total stranglehold on, and they're trying to change that.
And *why* do leftists have total control of film *and* the publishing industry? In large part thanks to people like you. People who see the first licks of flame among folks who might not have read any fiction in years, drawn in by fond familiarity and a re-write promising a *very* conservative kind of tale; of the power of herteronormative love and good overcoming evil - and promptly unzip and piss all over it. People who can't tell the difference between the synopsis I just gave and 200 pages of lesbian romance featuring a Donut Steele self-insert mary sue. People who can watch normies, desperate for a good story that isn't more DEI wankfest slop, organically pursuing something similar to what leftists do via cold calculation when they infest a previously-great franchise, gut it, and wear it like a skinsuit, but can't appreciate the downstream political implications of that. People who can't grasp that the average normie doesn't want to read your 187 IQ political essay, but just want some honest-to-god entertainment. People who actually think "This is John Gault speaking" is the best part of Atlas Shrugged and wish the rest of the story hadn't been wrapped around it.
I suspect people like you are not ensouled. You have no sense of wonder; no imagination, no ability to lose yourself in a great story. You never stayed up as a child reading under the covers with a flashlight well after your bedtime; transported by the tale. And so you cannot recognize that quality when you see it; can neither understand how "kiddie stuff" can contain it, nor recognize true art in its larval form. And indeed, this would dovetail well with how podcasters and influencers act in general; not true believers in anything they say, but grifters, who've figured out that the stupid screaming rubes want their biases confirmed and all you need to do is push the button to make more money come out of the 'chute; viz. Tucker Carlson.
And above all, what you can't understand is that good art is, by and large, conservative. Because conservatives write stories, not aesops; they concern themselves with human characters and thus care about the truth of humans' character, rather than treating truth as a blank slate that can be filled with any arbitrary lie desired, and wiped clean and re-written on the spot as desired. People like you seem to think that "conservative" art is a character stopping, turning to the camera, and saying "women's rights," except maybe it's "gun control bad."
This borderline-sociopathic lack of empathy leaves you unable to grasp fiction at its most basic level; you might think the classics are important because something something conservative values something something basis of western civilization, or because that one dude sounded real convincing playing a mafioso, but nothing more. And so you sneer out the side of your mouth at creators; confident that you're the Big Serious Adult having Big Thinky Thonks on your podcast, while the youth that will be voting in three years are glued to whatever they can find on Netflix and having that beamed straight into their cerebellums.
Art is a vehicle for thought, and most art is not War and Peace by dint of the basics of supply and demand - it takes a year to write a *good* novel and a day to read it. But because it's not Serious enough for you, you cede that ground to the collectivists, willingly, and merrily piss on anyone inspired to change that.
Stay in your lane, Scott.

If any country in Europe deserves to be demographically replaced by 3rd world migrants. Its Croatia.
The day no one mentions but I can't forget.
August 1995. Operation Storm. 250,000 Serbian refugees fled Croatia in 72 hours. Largest ethnic cleansing in Europe since WWII. We watched it happen on TV. Most people didn't. But we knew they were coming.
My family, like many others, gathered everything we could spare. Food. Milk. Cheese. Clothes. Batteries. All the necessities we could do without. These people didn't have much. Most were villagers. On their tractors. They packed what they could in minutes and ran.
The refugee convoy stretched for miles. Six hours from the Croatian border to where we lived. We set up on the road to hand things out.
Tractor after tractor kept rolling by. Families stacked on top of whatever belongings they managed to grab. Some crying. Some just staring ahead. Exhausted. Scared. Going to a country that was barely holding together itself.
At first we were excited to help. We gave everything. Handed out food. Bottles. Clothes. Tried to smile. Tried to welcome them.
But the convoy didn't stop. It kept going. And we ran out. We gave everything we had and the tractors were still coming.
So we just stood there. Gave them our hands to touch as they passed. Cried with them. That's all we had left to give.
That moment stays with me. The most heartbreaking thing I've ever seen. Not the bombings. Not the war around us. That convoy. Those faces. The feeling of having nothing left to offer people who'd lost everything.
Some of those families simply turned off the main road and sought refuge in our part of town, I've met my friend in life and to this day we are close and stay in touch regularly. He still lives 1km from the marked point on the map.
When I see warmongers today pushing for war escalation, that's what I think about. That convoy. Those families. The reality of what "conflict" actually means when you strip away the news headlines and strategy discussions.
War isn't maps and arrows. It's villagers on tractors losing their homes in 72 hours. It's families handing out their last supplies to strangers and crying because it's not enough.
That's what these people are pushing for. That's what escalation creates. Every single time.
