Last Saturday, we got to listen to four brilliant writers who make us proud of the literary community every day.
We bear so much gratitude to @avwusesherwords, @righteoustpoet, @taniapa and @samira_sadeque for helping the Angry Reading family grow.
"Elsa absolves you of all your sins / the ones you committed against her / and the ones you would if you had the chance"
- @avwusesherwords 🔥
"Do you find me smart and pretty? Loud and pretty? Pretty or not pretty?"
- @avwusesherwords
"Mother says let a man be angry before he loves you / that's how they love"
- @Samideque
"We met during one of my manic episodes before I knew what mania was"
@TaniaPabon is up next with the goods!
"I asked for death that Christmas when I couldn't think of any other present"
- @RighteousTPoet 😭😭😭😭😭😭
"I was applying for colleges when my Dad was in rehab / I wanted to put more distance between us"
@RighteousTPoet is absolutely wrecking us!
"Is there no Hall of Fame for people like me?"
